Grooming his long pelt, Eagle glanced up as Scarletstar entered. Meeting her eyes for a second as she nodded curtly, he continued grooming his pelt. But he was happy enough that he had not been rejected shelter during the massive storm outside. His yellow eyes sought out Oakpaw and Featherpaw, and upon seeing his son, he felt relief that the StormClan apprentice had not been outside still when the storm pitched into a higher gear. He did not see Featherpaw, but knew his daughter was more than likely somewhere safe. When Blossompaw glared at him, he tried to ignore the hostility, curling his long furry tail around himself.
Windpaw skittered into the cave, her blue eyes wide and her pelt soaking wet. Shaking out her brown-and-white fur, her heart beat quickly, her fear/frustration at the rain driving her insane. Grooming herself a bit, she tried to compose herself again. With a glance to her right, she saw Eagle, and mildly dismissed the fact that he was there; she didn't really mind him, and he was Oakpaw's father. Padding over to the other apprentices, she sat down with her characteristic grin.

Firebolt was exploring around, and he came upon the Central Cavern, he scented all sorts of cats. He thought to himself, hmmm, I smell Forest, Ember, Storm, and Sore Clan.... maybe their having a Gathering... Once he got into the end of the tunnel and into an opening he was right their were all sorts of Clan cats here. He looked around at them all, and he spotted Hawkstar on a high rock. He took it, it was a sort of Gathering, and that must be playing as the Highrock like at Fourtrees...He thought to himself. He spotted Emberclan's Deputy, Frostflash, and padded over to her. He stopped at her side and asked, " Hello Frostflash, what's going on a Gathering? " He tilted his head to one side and waited for her answer, while nodding respectfully at the other Clan cats.

Cloudmist saw Eagle in the cave and a puzzled look appeared on her face. Walking over to the large tabby she meowed quizzically, "What are you doing here?" her voice was light, no accusing tone was in her voice but she added quickly, "Not that you're not welcome, but just wondering," she glanced over to Oakpaw, "I'm sure Oakpaw and Featherpaw would like you to stay, but I'm not sure how the leaders will react...perhaps you should ask?" Not wanting to boss the kittypet around, she didn't say anything else, just waited for his reply, while looking around the large cave with sparkling green eyes.

Eagle glanced up from grooming to see Cloudmist. A warm smile split his muzzle. Tilting his big head as he listened, he nodded slightly. "I can't really go home, not that I'd want to." He twitched his tail towards the door, gesturing towards the heavy rainfall outside. "I'm not sure the others would accept a kittypet. I understand highly how insulting it is to some cats to accept another in their Clan, especially one who has lived with a twolegs.
"Scarletstar doesn't seem to mind me," Eagle continued lightly, "but I'm not sure if asking her would be acceptable. Perhaps I should ask, but I doubt she would allow me the pleasure of staying with StormClan."

Cloudmist nodded slightly, "I'm sure none of the cats here would mind you staying with us...but I suppose you should leave soon, some cats really dispise kittypets," she twitched her ears uncomfortably as soon as she said that, "Oh, sorry! I meant to say, uh, cats that live around Twolegs," she added, a little flustered.

Frostflash nodded to Firebolt. "I'm not really sure," she meowed, "but it does look like a Gathering." She purred with laughter. "But this place isn't anything like Fourtrees..." She scuffed a paw against the ground awkwardly. "What do you think of living underground? It seems so strange to me after living in the forest for my entire life..."
Stormpaw grinned at her friends. "Hi!" Mentally, she sighed with relief. They aren't hurt. She purred, eyes gleaming. "Wasn't that battle amazing?"
Shadowpaw's fur prickled, and he turned around. The firey apprentice glared at Cinnamonstreak, who had been staring at him moments ago. What is his problem?! First he nearly starts a war between StormClan and EmberClan, now he's glaring at me and Crystalpool for no reason! He hissed softly and turned away.

Firebolt sighed and sat down next to her and said, " It's so different.... it's like your trapped, and can't get out...." He twitched his tail nervouly and looked around at all the cats. He said in a whisper, " Do you think the rouges will attack everybody again... we lost some cats when they didi attack us..." He looked at his depudy with worry, they were weak enough as it was, they could'nt battle again....

Hawkstar noded politely in greeting to Scarletstar and Twilightsong as the other cats came to stand beside her on the de facto Great Rock. "Yeah, it's a bit different down here," she meowed in answer to Scarletstar's comment, shaken out of her thoughts enough to grin. "I'm sure we'll adjust in time...it shouldn't be too hard. But it's going to take some adjusting. There are so many things we've never had to discuss before, things that now have the potential to become problems if we don't address them and handle them well."
Hawkstar sat, half facing the cats beside her and half facing the cavern at large. She paused a moment and curled her tail forward around her paws. "For instance, how to keep our clans supplied with food inside the caves."

Mousepaw stumbled into the cave and sighed, there was still so much work to be done and so little time to get some rest, he could tell that Ripplestream was over the other side of the cave sleeping but then smelt the horrid scent of twolegs and gave a little hiss, there was a kittypet, in here? He stumbled over to a small corner and laid down to have some rest, though he was still cautious.
Owlclaw got up from his position at the end of the cave and walked over to Hawkstar, hearing her comment about the supplies he walked up to his leader and dipped his head, "May I lead the first hunting patrol out once the rain has gone?" he meowed respectfully, there was one way to get out of the clastraphobic caves
Featherpaw ran over to where her father was and bounded around him, "are you going to stay?" she asked, there was one thing being part of a clan, but it would be nice to have Eagle around.

Scarletstar nodded in reply to Hawkstar. She had been thinking about that too. "There must be some kind of prey in these rocks." She murmured. "The rogues lived in these caves sometimes, and i'm sure they needed some sort of food source up here."
Yinpaw and Yangpaw both trotted over to stormpaw and the other apprentices. "You bet it was!" Yangpaw purred. "By the end, those rogues were so scared they ran away with their tails between their legs." Yinpaw nodded. "I didn't get to see much action, but from all the injuries that i've healed I guess it was pretty intense."

Eagle twitched his ears, chuckling amusedly. "Don't worry about it. I'm quite used to it." He felt a prickle in his shoulders, and turned to see the blind eyes of a cat staring at him. Disconcerted, he looked away, but when Featherpaw approached, he smiled warmly. "I'm not sure, Featherpaw. That's up to your leader."
He glanced up again, to see Scarletstar talking to Hawkstar. After a couple of moments of mental debate, he trotted over to stand beneath the stone, looking up with yellow eyes like melted gold.
Windpaw nodded vigorously to Stormpaw. "Yeah, it was real exciting," She meowed ecstatically. The brown-and-white apprentice laughed, imagining the fierce rogues running away. "They were like scared mice!" Glancing up as Yinpaw and Yangpaw arrived, she mewed a friendly greeting. Something occurred to her then. "Y'know... when you think about it... we're even more mature than the warriors in some way. I mean, they're always fighting, and all of us get along." She twitched her whiskers, remembering how the Clan cats were at each other's throats before.
Songheart padded into the cave, her fiery pelt weighed down with water. Droplets dripped off of her whiskers when she twitched them. Flustered, she padded over to a corner and began grooming herself vigrously. Water was shed from her sleek coat and dripped onto the ground around her. Glancing up, she felt a bit like a loner, and a pang of regret ran through her as she remembered what had happened earlier that day, the fighting between the Clans.
I wish I hadn't done that. It was mousebrained of me; I know the EmberClan cats have had to resort to stealing, but StormClan overreacted. They are without a proper leader at the moment.

Cloudmist looked over fondly at Featherpaw and licked the top of her daughter's head before sitting down and watching the cats around her. Bored...she twitched her ears. There was nothing to do here...Hunting? she wondered, but it was raining too hard outside. Even when it was like that back in the Clan territory, we would go hunting for fresh-kill, but here...eh, it's different..., the tortoiseshell she-cat decided.
Swallowsong padded into the cave and headed towards her apprentice, Windpaw. She smiled at the young she-cat and didn't bother asking, 'How are you?' since she was looking so ecstatic and excited. She nodded towards Yinpaw and Yangpaw as well.

Frostflash shook her head slowly. "I don't think they'll attack again for a while," she meowed to Firebolt. "Yeah, they hurt us in the battle, but we hurt them pretty badly too. I heard that Snowveil killed one." She purred softly, disbelieving. "Can you imagine her killing a rogue? She's barely older than an apprentice. "Anyway, you shouldn't worry too much." Frostflash finished. "I think we'll be safe here."
Stormpaw purred with laughter at Windpaw's comment. "Yeah, it's really kind of absurd. Apprentices showing more maturity than warriors!' She grinned at the ShoreClan apprentice, blue eyes dancing. "Does that mean we're smarter?"

Blossompaw saw Oakpaw right as he entered and waved a paw at him as he started over towards them. He meowed greetings to them but looked very distracted and kept looking around. Blossompaw looked around as well and saw Windpaw coming towards them, her fur still pretty wet. “Hey Windpaw!” Blossompaw chirped as the other Apprentice took a seat with them.
“Oh, hey Windpaw.” Oakpaw chimed in, looking over at her. He was still a little fidgety and distracted. He saw Featherpaw over talking to their dad along with Cloudmist before Eagle walked over to where the Leaders were sitting. His eyes widened and he started fervently begging StarClan that he was going to ask to stay and that Scarletstar would say yes. He was so focused on his dad that he didn’t hear the rest of the conversation.
Blossompaw shook her head at Oakpaw and nodded at Stormpaw when she asked about the battle being amazing. ”That was totally amazing! I can’t wait for the next one!” She meowed eagerly, her front paws dancing excitedly while her eyes sparkled at the prospect of another battle. Yinpaw and Yangpaw joined as she was talking and chimed in as well. Blossompaw grinned at Yangpaw’s description and reared up on her hind legs in a mock battle stance while waving her front paws in a mock fight at Yangpaw.
“Ha! That’ll make them think twice about messing with us! We’re the fearsome Apprentices!” She meowed triumphantly before dropping back onto all four paws as Windpaw spoke. Swallowsong came over then and Blossompaw sighed inwardly and gave her mother a look that clearly asked if she HAD to be there right now, in the circle… with HER friends… Blossompaw was in the teen years of a kit’s life when they wanted to be cool, look cool and be really far from uncool things – like their parents.
Windpaw was commenting about how they were acting more mature than some of the Warriors and Blossompaw looked over at her with a nod as Stormpaw laughed and asked if that made them smarter. Blossompaw mrrowled her own laughter at the thought. “Well when you think about it, we were the first ones to charge into battle so actually they should be treating us as heros.” She said with a grin. ”Had it not been for us attacking the rogues first, they’ve had tried to ambush us I’m sure!” She said, twitching her tail eagerly. ((nothing personal Swallowsong. Blossompaw’s just being difficult towards mommy. Lol))
Twilightsong perked up his ears as Scarletstar and Hawkstar started talking about them living underground and various things attached to that. He nodded at Hawkstar’s comment about discussing things now before they become a problem and immediately thought about hunting and food distribution. Scarletstar’s comment about prey in the caves showed she was thinking along the same lines he was as Owlclaw approached and asked her if he could lead a hunting patrol once the rain stopped. Twitching his whiskers thoughtfully he looked over at Scarletstar.
“Speaking of hunting, how did we want to handle the food distribution? A communal food pile for all four Clans to share? If so, do you suppose it would be better for each Clan to have their own separate hunting parties or to combine our hunting parties?” He asked the two leaders. He knew with four Clans sharing one territory that there were bound to be some arguments come up regardless of how they planned it. Hopefully though everyone would agree to some sort of truce and agree to co-exist peacefully together until they could return to their territories.
Twilightsong watched Eagle approach and wondered why a kittypet was still with a bunch of Clan cats, but held his tongue for now. He briefly remembered hearing something about Oakpaw and Featherpaw’s father being a kittypet and now that he studied Eagle, he saw the resemblance. He wondered if Eagle was going to ask if he could stay with StormClan. He wondered how Scarletstar would answer should that be Eagle’s question and looked over at her while waiting for Hawkstar to reply to his earlier question.
Cinnamonstreak looked up from grooming his tail as several other cats arrived. He noticed the group of Apprentices around Stormpaw was getting rather large and watched with interest at how they were all laughing and getting along peaceably. A bunch of Apprentices can get along better than most of us adults. He sighed to himself. Now that’s just embarassing.
Flicking his ear at a stray drop of water, he saw Songheart enter and work to groom the excess water out of her pelt. He still felt Crystalpool was a bad Medicine Cat and that it would be a long time before he’d consider calling her a Medicine Cat, but Heathersky was right. There were more important things to worry about. He still felt Cloudmist had been a thief, but she hadn’t stolen since and now that they were all stuck in one territory together, he felt they should at least call a truce.
Having made up his mind, he stood and shook out his coat, which fell in loose waves around him. Damp air made his fur tend to want to get a little wavy, however only a complete idiot with a death wish would make any cracks in regards to Cinnamonstreak’s gender. He’d already earned a reputation for severely disliking being labeled feminine in any sense after nearly clawing another cat’s ears off as an Apprentice when they’d made a joke about him looking “girly.”
Cinnamonstreak cleared his throat a little loudly as he approached Songheart so she wouldn’t feel like he was trying to sneak up on her. He waited until she had had a chance to straighten up before speaking. ”I think I can safely say that neither of us see eye to eye on a few… matters. However as someone said to me recently, there’s more important things for us to be worrying about than fighting over a bite of food.” Cinnamonstreak said, mentally wondering what Heathersky would think if she knew her passing comment to him that night had influenced his thinking as much as it had.
“I realize I don’t hold a rank as high as yours, but I would hope you’d take this as… as one Warrior that seeks to uphold the Warrior Code… to another.” Clearing his throat a little self consciously, Cinnamonstreak eyed her briefly before going on, watching her reaction. “From one Warrior to another and at least while we’re at Korkea Maa let’s make a truce between StormClan and EmberClan.” He finished up and fell silent, his amber eyes watching her carefully. There. He’d taken the first step towards attempting to let peace have a chance. It was in Songheart’s paws now if she wanted to do the same or let the two Clans keep fighting. Holding grudges never was his thing anyways.

Firebolt noded and stared at the leaders on the "Highrock" He thought, when will this storm pass so we all can go back to our real homes... He started to groom himself, when he finished he turned around and flicked his tail at Frostflash, in goodbye, and padded over to sit over in a corner of the cave.He layed down and sighed, Might as well wait here to make sure this is a Gathering....He thought.
