ooc- No, that's not powerplaying at all.
Skysong heard someone mutter something close behind her. Wondering who it could be, she turned around. Suddenly the wind blew across the plateu and she smelled fresh blood. Her eys widened a little in alarm and surprise, the blood scent was stronger then it would have been for just a scratch. She walked quickly over and notice Dewpaw sitting behind a bush with several cuts and her leg held out at an awkward angle. "Dewpaw!" the small aprentice looked like she was in alot of pain. "Are you ok? Should I get Stonestream?" she asked, eying the twisted paw.

((I first-person RP Heathersky now, just to let those who don't know in on it. ^-^))
I heard a sound, like the scrabbling of paws, and turned my head a little just in time to see a cat slip off the edge of the plateau, falling to the ground a few foxlengths down. I was about to cry out, but stopped myself for a moment to consider if they were alright.
Songheart twined her tail with Swifttail, love in her leaf-green eyes. "I know we're close, but storms always put me in a bad mood. Ironic, considering StormClan is-" Her sentence was interrupted by something heavy landing on top of her. Almost biting her tongue to keep from yowling out, she pushed herself out from under the object to find that it was a cat. And not just any cat, but an EmberClan cat, by the scent of her. It was Dewpaw, and Songheart unsheathed her claws into the dust, holding her temper and screaming mentally. The apprentice scrabbled off with her paw at an odd angle, and for a moment Songheart felt pity. I hope she's okay... I mean, I'm fine, but that paw looks bad...
I saw that it was Dewpaw, and felt unconcerned, turning away and looking back to Ripplestream. But unease crawled up my spine, and I felt an urge to look the direction Dewpaw had gone, into the brush. I picked up some poppyseed just in case and entered the bush, to see that the apprentice's paw was twisted and bleeding. That explained the blood scent. "Oh, eat these," I said coolly, setting down the poppyseed in front of her and looking behind me to see if Ripplestream or Stonestream came, perhaps with cobwebs or something of the like.
((Was that powerplaying? =/ If so tell me and I'll erase it.))

ooc- Well, if Crystalpool doesn't mind...
Swifttail nodded, purring. He was glad that it was only the storm that was bothering his mate, he coudl think of tons more things that Songheart could be worring about. Suddenly, something flew onto Songheart. Imediatly thinkng that they were under attack, but with no idea who would be stupid enough to do so, Swifttail's fur bristled and his claws shot out. "What-" his furious question was interupted when he realized that the cat had absolutly no idea that they were there. Confused, Swifttail's fur settled back down, but he kept his claws unseathed, just in case. As the EmberClan apprentice limped off, Swifttail asked "What was that all about?" His voice sounded confused, curious and still a little angry.
As Skysong was still fretting about what to do, Heatherpaw((sky?)) came over and gave Dewpaw some poppyseeds. "Will she be able to walk?" she asked the medicine cat. Dewpaw would probably say that there was nothing wrong with her and that she would be fine, but that paw looked like it hurt alot. Walking might make it more twisted.

Shadowpaw took a seat on a large boulder at the edge of the plateau, his dark tabby fur almost blending with the wet rock. he could see all the cats wandering around, with the last stragglers just reaching the top of the plateau. Is this what StarClan feels like? To be able to watch everything moving, seeing all? His eyes narrowed. But, unlike StarClan, I can't change anything.
Snowveil slipped up the rocks, her head hanging low. Her ear burned fiercely, like a snake had sunk its jaws through her ear. Blood was sticky on the side of her face, and she growled. Now every cat will stare at me! I look ridiculous! She paused by a group of cats gathered around a small EmberClan apprentice. The apprentice's paw was twisted and bloody, and a medicine cat was giving her some poppy seeds. Great StarClan! She joined the group of cats, eyes wide with shock. "What happened?"

Dewpaw ated the poppy seeds with embarrasment. Her paw was still bleeding and her leg still felt painful. "I'm sorry. And I''m fine. Perfectly okay." Dewpaw muttered quietly. Then she noticed Snowveil. "are you... hurt too?" she squeaked in shock. The young apprentice did not know the cat she nearly fell on top of was the deputy of those hot headed stormclan cats. "I think I fell on someone." Dewpaw told the small huddle of cats. Her neck prickled with more shame and her paw now was numb. She tried to get up and walk over to some other cat, but it was stiff and she couldn't move. Blood trickled down her leg.
"Great StarClan!" Crystalpool noticed an young apprentice and went over to help, beckoning for Shadowpaw to follow. She stopped abruptly when she noticed the same cat who was hunting on StormClan territory! But still, she was a medicie ncat, and surely Heathersky couldn't do it herself. But she noticed Snowveil too and her fur began to stand up. Silently Crystalpool got some cobwebs and gave them to Heathersky. Her feelings toward EmberClan were clear, though she tried to think they were allies.

((Hey everyone, just so you know, Blossomkit is now Blossompaw and thanks to Hawkii’s mad time bending skills, she’s actually been 6 months old and an Apprentice BEFORE the move to Korkea Maa so yeah.. lol I’ll edit some of my previous posts so they make a bit more sense. And Twilightsong is just chilling with Midnightstar, whatever she’s doing. ^^))
Blossompaw yawned and looked over as her mom came over to see how she was doing. “I’m fine.” She mewed as Swallowsong gave her a quick once over to smooth down her fur. Pinestorm arrived and said hi to her, and Blossompaw nodded back. She knew her was her stepdad, but she hadn’t had time to really talk to him. At the moment though, all three were distracted from each other with her parents going one way and Blossompaw going to see what the other Apprentices were doing. ((someone wanna talk to Blossomkit and near her age?))
As Oakpaw scrambled up a rocky boulder, he turned to help Stormpaw, but she was dragging herself up. Glad she was managing the climb okay, he was briefly distracted by seeing a few unlucky cats get some scratches and a few fall, but thankfully none of the injuries looked serious. Hauling himself over another boulder, he turned to look back at her as she spoke to him.
"Are you feeling okay? I'm just about dead on my paws."
“Ugh, me too. I wish StarClan had put Korkea Maa closer! I never knew it was such a long trek!” He mewed ruefully, not realizing his words were mirroring her thoughts exactly. “How are you holding up?” He asked as he smiled and noticed her blue eyes held a twinkle of mirth. Wondering briefly what was so funny, he tilted his head at her, before smiling again.
As Cinnamonstreak reclined on the rock, he mentally ran over his hurried conversation with Blazestar as they’d left Fourtrees and headed here. Dewpaw had needed a mentor and as Cinnamonstreak had been wanting one, he’d asked if he could take her on. Blazestar hadn’t had a problem with it and left it up to him to let Dewpaw know. They needed to do a ceremony, but he supposed that would come later. For now he had to find the impish kitten and let her know.
A muffled whump nearly caught his attention and he noticed a small band of Stormclan and Emberclan warriors starting to converge on one spot along with both Clan’s Medicine cats. Wondering what was up, he headed over, only to find it was Dewpaw who was the center of attention.
Sighing, he shouldered his way past the Stormclan Warriors to Dewpaw’s side and looked her over. She had a cut on one paw and her leg was twisted. If nothing else, he’d wager she had a nasty sprain. That would set back their training a lot. It’d really set it back if the leg was broken. Scowling a little, he forgot she didn’t know about that yet and watched as Heathersky gave her poppy seeds and Crystalpool handed Heathersky some cobwebs.
The tension with which all this was conducted wasn’t lost on Cinnamonstreak and the looks he gave the other Stormclan Warriors made it clear he felt it best if they left. He only tolerated Crystalpool at this point because she was a Medicine cat, though her attitude was bothering him. It failed to dawn on him his attitude towards her was just as frosty.
Turning to Heathersky, he was about to ask how she was when Dewpaw muttered she was fine and tried to move. Seeing the shape her leg was in, his tail twitched in annoyance. Most of his attitude was a direct result of being around Stormclan cats, but he was also somewhat upset Dewpaw had hurt herself so badly just when he was supposed to tell her she was to start training tomorrow. He sighed to himself and looked over at Heathersky. “How bad is it?”
((sorry about the gmode with Blazestar, she’s not been on so I wasn’t sure how to work that in. At any rate, Hawk said Cinny could mentor Dewpaw… And dun mind Cinny, he's just a meanie head some days. hehe))

"I'm pretty good," Stormpaw replied. Her blue eyes sparkled as she grinned at Oakpaw. "Have you been to Korkea Maa before? I've never gone." She scuffed a paw against the hard rock. "It's so different from the forest." For a second she was silent, worrying about the future. then she looked up, and her eyes had their usual mischevious gleam. "Want to explore with me?"
Shadowpaw sighed. He was feeling uncharacteristically lonely. I want to talk to someone! He looked for Crystalpool, and saw her in a group of other cats surrounding an apprentice. His older sister was there too. The dark apprentice's ears pricked up with curiosity as he smelled blood and herbs. He leaped off the boulder and bounded down the slope, sending up a spray of pebbles. He skidded to a halt, nearly crashing into a smaller cat. He shook the dust out of his fur, regarding through narrowed eyes the cat he had nearly flattened. She was a small apprentice, probably just over six moons, with ShoreClan scent. Shadowpaw frowned, trying to think of her name. "It's Blossompaw, right?" He meowed after a while.
Snowveil winced as Dewpaw spoke to her. "I... I'm all right. I just scraped my ear. She felt hot with embarassment. "Y... you should probably just rest now..." Her voice was unsure as she gazed at the wounded apprentice. I'm no medicine cat! I shouldn't be distracting her. She hurried away, head low and tail down.

OOC: Crystalpool is tending to Dewpaw.
"Hi Cinnamonstreak!" meowed Dewpaw. The apprentice brightened. "I have a wound. Every warrior does." She boasted, but winced as her wound tightened. "When am I going to get a mentor? Do you know who it's going to be?'' Dewpaw was in a rush. She wanted to ask so much, she needed a mentor so badly. Dewpaw looked at the hotheaded warrior excitedly.

Ripplestream came up to Dewpaw and gently nosed the apprentice's paw then looked up at Crystalpool and Heathersky and finally turned her amber green gaze over to Cinnamonstreak. She looked at him for a long moment before replying, "It's not too bad," she assured the EmberClan warrior, her ears twitching, "But you'd best put off her training for about a quarter moon to a half moon."
Glancing in the direction of the EmberClan medicine cat, she meowed, "You should get Stonestream to check that wound everyday though, so he can tell you whether she can start training again."
The silver blue she-cat was well aware of the tension between StormClan and EmberClan and she could also tell that Cinnamonstreak was trying not to say anything rude to their medicine cat. She nodded to the cats around her and slipped away into the shadows, not wanting to interfere with anything else.

((Yes, Heatherpaw was made into a medicine cat, and now she is Heathersky ^^))
After standing for a moment and debating whether she should be feeling pity or anger, she decided on anger and gave her digruntled fire-orange pelt a couple of hasty licks. Indignation and disapproval were now in her green eyes as she glared up the rock face. "I don't know, but EmberClan needs to get better control of their apprentices. The behavior in those cats is getting worse and worse. In fact, want to go have a talk with them?" Without waiting for a reply, she began pushing herself up the rock face again, determination powering her motion.
I looked at Skysong, knowing her concern was Clan-powered despite the StormClan cats around, listening eagerly to hear if the apprentice would be disabled; a little protest flamed in my heart, as I knew that though they could not control their emotions, that it was cruel to want such a thing for any other cat, especially an apprentice who hadn't even had the chance to live much of their life yet. "No, you're not," I replied firmly to Dewpaw, who protested that she was fine. "She might," I replied to Skysong, and switched my attention back to Dewpaw. Crystalpool came over and gave me some cobwebs, and I took them gratefully. "Thanks, Crystalpool," I meowed, and wrapped them gently around Dewpaw's twisted forepaw.
Feeling the bone, I paused mid-wrap, realizing something I had not realized before. Turning to address Cinnamonstreak, I replied, "She'll most likely be alright, but..." I frowned and turned back to Dewpaw. "It's not broken, don't worry, that's not the concern." My silver eyes twinkled with amusement as I recalled she said she had landed on someone. That someone had broken her fall, which had kept her paw from being broken, but still, they would be mad. I had a moment of slight worry in which I was concerned that she had landed on a StormClan cat and made the tension even worse, but I tried not to think that might have happened and looked up from the wound at Snowveil. "You're not that badly injured, but I think you could use these cobwebs more," I said, and held out my paw which was still covered in cobwebs for Crystalpool to dress the warrior's wound.
I felt gladness that at least Dewpaw felt sprightly and energetic enough to speak to Cinnamonstreak as though she was not in pain, because I knew that though the poppyseed would have helped, it would not have masked the dull throbbing completely. Besides being sprained, the reason that it was twisted so oddly was that it was dislocated, and that was one of the most painful things that could happen to a cat. I once dislocated my paw, and the pain was terrible, until Stonestream helped me to pull it back to normal, at the same time as healing me teaching me a lesson on how to fix it. Glad for the knowledge, I set my mouth in grim determination to do what I had to when Ripplestream came over.
"Thanks Ripplestream," I meowed, more than a little grateful for the interruption. Not only did it mean that I didn't have to perform the task of popping Dewpaw's paw back where it belonged immediately, Ripplestream was far more experienced than I, I only a very recent medicine cat, and I valued and respected her opinion above almost anyone else's. Besides being a wise medicine cat, she was almost like my mother, and I watched a little sadly as she receded away from the group. Having her help here would have made it easier.
Sighing a little that now I would have to do what was necessary, I turned to look at each of the present cats, my stormy-gray gaze finally resting on Dewpaw. "I'm sorry, Dewpaw, but your paw is not only sprained, it is dislocated." Regret was in my eyes, but I knew what I had to do. It didn't help the fact that it wasn't something I enjoyed doing, but at the same time it was. I loved and appreciated helping other cats, and healing them, and if this was what was required, then by StarClan, I'd do it. "I'm going to need help in this. Dewpaw, you must promise to be brave, alright? You're already doing a brilliant job of being brave, but this will hurt a lot." I looked into her eyes as I said this, not sugar-coating it as much as I could, and waited for her confirmation that she was ready for it before I continued. I turned a little, and whispered to Crystalpool (trying to be unaware of her hostility) and Cinnamonstreak, "I'm going to need cats to hold her and ensure she doesn't hurt anyone, most of all herself." I turned back to Dewpaw, waiting.
Songheart finally reached the precipice, pulling herself onto the flat ground of the plateau. "Why, when I get my paws on that unruly apprentice..." She muttered hatefully, but spotted the apprentice among a throng of medicine cats and concerned-looking warriors. Approaching more hesitantly, the StormClan deputy didn't want to start a big fight among all these cats, but still felt anger at the apprentice. Still, when she saw Heathersky hovering worriedly over the paw, and the paw itself twisted at an odd angle, she felt a little more pity return, and decided to stand and spectate instead of involving herself. Her bad temper would have governed her if she had less self-control.
Windpaw stalked off to hide behind a rock, mischief in her bright-blue eyes. She waited for a cat to pass, and just when they did, she jumped out at them- landing on Stormpaw with a good-natured laugh. Giggling gleefully, she meowed, "Hey there!" Recalling excitedly that this apprentice also wanted to explore, Windpaw sat up a little more seriously, her brown-and-white fur only slightly ruffled by the pounce. "I overheard that you wanted to explore. I wanted to, too!" She waited for the reply, her bright-blue eyes betraying her provoked curiosity at the new landscape.
((I think that is the longest post I have RPed on this site... o.O))

OOC: When I change color, I'm changing the character point of view. I'm mloding it up into one big paragraph.
Dewpaw snorted when Heathersky told her that no, she was not alright. The apprentice spotted Songheart not far away, looking irritable. why is she so angry? Dewpaw wondered. She turned when Crystalpool but cobwebs on her paw. "Get off!" Dewpaw hissed recoiling. Crystalpool snarled faintly and thrust her head in the apprentice's face. "You'll take it, foxdung, for your on good." Crystalpool thrusted herself forward, and, losing her patience, slapped the cobweb on her paw. "Ow!" spat Dewpaw angrily. She turned to Heathersky, seeming to be blaming her for Crystalpool's behavior. "This is a medicine cat?" Dewpaw asked, mad. Her fur was on end and bristling. Crystalpool looked shocked and ashamed, but she did nothing. Heathersky's crushing words echoed in her head. no, youre not. Who was she bullying all these cats around for? The last time Dewpaw looked, Blazestar was leading EmberClan. Dewpaw whirled to face Crystalpool, forgetting that cats were surrounding her. Crystalpool hissed softly as Dewpaw turned on her. "If you don't want my help, fine!" Crystalpool shot Heathersky, Dewpaw, Cinnamonstreak, and all the other EmberClan cats a menacing glare and went away fuming to Songheart. Crystalpool was angry at herself at how poorly she behaved. she was supposed to be a peacemaker, not a feud-maker! Crystalpool unsheathed her claws in confusion and tapped Songheart's shoulder with her tail. "This... this horrible apprentice..." Crystalpool choked up angrily. "Songheart, I tended to a stealer! An enemy who does't appreciate me! What did I do? She started everything! Though I did lose my temper." Crystalpool looked around, tring not to add, and my apprentice didn't come. Shame clawed at her heart. if you don't want my help, fine!Crystalpool's departing words echoed in her head. "No- I didn't mean-" Dewpaw began, but Crystalpool most likely didn't hear her. Dewpaw's eyelids drooped sadly, embarrasment nipped at her fur like a sudden cold.

Stormpaw perked up, interested. "Would you like to explore with us?" she asked Windpaw. the grey apprentice turned to look back over the plateau, marveling again at how big it was. This would be so much fun! Her aloof demeanor dropped as she whirled back to face Windpaw again. "Pleeeeeeease!!!!!"
Snowveil was sitting on a rock, carefully washing blood from her ear with one wet paw. Her eyes narrowed as she heard raised voices, and she turned. The white warrior gasped as she saw Crystalpool talking in a choked voice to Songheart. the medicine cat looked like she was about to cry. All thoughts of grooming forgotten, Snowveil raced over. She arrived just in time to hear Crystalpool telling what had happened. Songheart, I tended to a stealer! To an enemy who doesn't appreciate me! What did i do? She started everything! Although I did lose my temper. Snowveil growled angrily. "Those EmberClan apprentices have gotten out of control!"

Crystalpool barely heard her clanmate. Head hung down, angry and embarrased, she padded away quietly to sit on a rock, not waiting for Songheart's comment. Dewpaw saw Crystalpool walk away from her clanmates. She scrambled to her paws and winced. With a yowl of pain she flopped back down on the ground, gasping. Dewpaw stared at her paws. "What did I do?" she whispered in shame. Then Crystalpool appeared in front of her, tears stremed down her muzzle. She gave the cobweb to Heathersky silently. An awkward silence filled the air. Crystalpool din't hear her ror take any notice of her. She acted like she wasn't there. Dewpaw flattened her ears. "Heathersky?" she asked quietly. "I'm sorry." A tear sat on her eyelid as she glanced up at the medicine cat apprentice.

(( >< you guys are really wanting Cinny to lunge and hurt someone aren't you?))
"I'm pretty good,"
Oakpaw was glad she was doing good and with florish leaped atop the last rock. Unfortunately his legs didn’t have much florish left and he almost lost his balance and fell off. Clawing against the rock, he kept his balance, but was grateful to sit down and take a load off for a few minutes.
"Have you been to Korkea Maa before? I've never gone. It's so different from the forest. Want to explore with me?""
Perking up his ears at her words he shook his head. “No, this is my first time too. And personally, I hope it’s my last for a long time.” He meowed goodnaturedly as he briefly admired the view before she asked if he wanted to go exploring. The idea sounded great to him and he stood up just as Windpaw pounced Stormpaw.
Grinning, Oakpaw bounded over to join the fun as Windpaw said she wanted to go exploring too. “Okay! We can all go together!” He said. “Where should we start?” He asked, looking around the plateau. A gust of wind rushed by and bringing with it the smell of falling rain as a drop hit his nose. “Ack! I forgot about the rain.” He grumbled as he wiped his nose off with his paw. “You think we got time before the storms get here?” He asked anxiously, not wanting to get wet, but the idea of exploring sounded exciting.
Blossompaw was suddenly bumped into and she turned to see another Apprentice, Shadowpaw. “Be careful Shadowpaw.” She said, shaking her fur out. “You nearly ran me over!” Her voice wasn’t all that upset and soon she was smiling again as he asked if she was Blossompaw. “Yep, that’s me! You wanna do something?” She asked, “I am SO bored.” The threat of oncoming rain didn’t really phase her as she’d never been outdoors in truly bad weather. Plus, it was just some water, right? What was so scary about that?
Cinnamonstreak looked over at Snowveil, noticing her ear was cut for the first time when Dewpaw pointed it out. Cinnamonstreak brushed it off mentally and returned his attention to Dewpaw as Snowveil slunk off. Personally he was glad to see her leave, one less StormClan cat to annoy him by nosing around. Dewpaw tried to brush off her injuries as a common everyday thing, and while it was good in a way, he knew the first thing he’d have to teach her was to watch where she was going. She asked about getting a mentor and Cinnamonstreak didn’t reply right away as he was still waiting to see what Heathersky thought about her paw first. It hadn’t escaped his notice Dewpaw was a little attached to him and in a way he was flattered, even if he didn’t show it outright.
Ripplestream came over and while Cinnamonstreak was a little exasperated that Heathersky was either incapable of tending a wound or everyone was just treating her like it, Cinnamonstreak managed to keep his mouth shut as Ripplestream was more experienced. As a bonus she wasn’t from StormClan so he was really glad of that fact. His ears perked up and listened as she basically said it was just a bad sprain and no more than half a moon before Dewpaw would be ready to start training. She did recommend Stonestream check the wound daily, but otherwise, once she was done, Ripplestream graciously took her leave, must like Cinnamonstreak wished the other Stormclan cats would.
Heathersky was still being cool and Cinnamonstreak was having a hard time teling if it was due to Crystalpool being there or if she had some underlying issue with Dewpaw. Narrowing his eyes a little, he watched the two Medicine cats carefully when Heathersky handed the cobwebs back to Crystalpool for her to tend Dewpaw’s wound. Cinnamonstreak thought that to be very strange and apparently so did Dewpaw as she hissed and told Crystalpool to back off. Crystalpool immediately snapped back and roughly treated Dewpaw’s wound, hurting the Apprentice in the process.
Cinnamonstreak stood up and growled menacingly at Crystalpool, but was distracted at seeing Songheart wander up and watch, looking a little disturbed about something. Glaring at the StormClan Deputy, his attention was taken off her a moment later when Crystalpool exploded and yelled at Dewpaw and Heathersky before stalking over to Songheart and called Dewpaw a horrible Apprentice. Cinnamonstreak’s mouth fell open, but it snapped shut with a click as Crystalpool called Dewpaw a prey stealer.
“HOW DARE YOU!” He exploded in fury and stalked over towards Crystalpool, stopping two feet from her, but he was clearly angry and spat at her. “You call yourself a Medicine cat and yet this is how you treat an injured cat?! By hurting her worse and THEN calling her names and insulting her in front of her Clan for something she did NOT do?!” He snarled in hot fury. “I don’t know WHAT StarClan was thinking when they called you a Medicine cat, but I do know you’ll NEVER treat MY Apprentice again!” He spit, not caring what Songheart’s reaction would be. Indeed, in his current mood, he felt it best if Songheart got a clue and didn’t have one or at least not within earshot of him.
He heard Snowveil pipe up saying Emberclan Apprentices had gotten out of control and he stalked over towards her. As she was a Warrior, he had no qualms about using his claws on her and let her know it by unsheathing them and swiping them mere inches from her face. “Don’t show your ignorance and arrogance around me. You want to see out of control then take a good look at your Medicine Cat, but SHE is out of control.” He hissed at her. He turned back around to see tears in Crystalpool’s eyes as she was apologizing to Heathersky. Too angry to speak to her, he turned instead to Dewpaw, having overheard Heathersky mention they had to set her paw back in place. “I’ll hold her, just do what you need to.” He told Heathersky, his tone making it very clear Crystalpool was not welcome to help or even be near them anymore right now.

OOC: bad cinny! *whacks cinny with umbrella.*
Crystalpool's sadness melted, and suddenly she burst with anger. The medicine cat stormed over, back to Snowveil, and hissed, "You're exactly right." her voice was absolutely scathing. "How unapprciative is Dewpaw? Cinnamonstreak, I think thats her mentor, really needs to start training her properly." she hissed, glaring at Dewpaw.
