Swallowsong smiled at her apprentice and gave the little she-cat a gentle lick. "I'm glad you're safe," she purred. Turning back to Eagle, made an effort to smile, but she was still wary of the stranger. "Fine...if you say so..." she still kept her amber gaze on the huge brown tom though.
Cloudmist's sparkling green eyes widened. "You're their father?" she asked, slightly shocked. "Well, any cat related to Oakpaw and Featherpaw couldn't be so vile like the other rogues..." she gave each of her kits a lick on the head again. "Where's their mother?" she asked, a little challengingly. "Why did she abandon them?" her eyes blazed at the thought of a mother abandoning her kits. Oakpaw and Featherpaw had been her kits ever since they were only a few moons old and she loved them like her own.

Scarletstar sighed in releif as the rogues turned and ran. Relaxing her fighting stance, she turned and looked through the battered cats. Catching sight of of Cloudmist and her kits with a loner, Scarletstar padded over and dipped her head to Eagle. "Greetings." She purred. "Since you are neither attacking nor running, I'm guessing that you are no danger to us."
Wildstorm sat down with a heavy thump, her limbs screaming with tiredness. With a sigh, she started to wash the wounds on her sides and shoulders, immensely glad that the rogues were now gone.
Blitzfire nodded gratefully to Shadowpaw and lapped up the small seeds. Immediately growing tired, he stumbled to his paws and made his way into one of the caves before falling asleep, completely exhausted.
Yinpaw and Yangpaw crept out of their bush, still wary for any stray rogues. Seeing that no one was there to attack them, they trotted out, Yinpaw keeping an eye out for her mentor.

Owlclaw stayed outside, watching the clan cats go inside the caves, he saw the mortally injured rogues and Clan cats dying or being dragged off by Medicne cats, it was a sad day for the Clans, Snakebite... and others gave their lives, he thought, and walked over to the rogue he had saved his former apprentice from and finished him off, Owlclaw couldn't stand suffering and watching cats die slowly was not a thing he would ever be used to... He nodded to Wildstorm, who had helped him during the fight and smiled, albeit one of a bruised and bloody warrior, to the two ForestClan apprentices as they passed.
Mousepaw sensed the broken and injured cats lying on the floor of the cave and moaned. This was not good, he thought, there were too little supplies and too many injured cats, he trundled off towards Heathersky and grapped some cobwebs and other such medicine from the ledge nearby and patched up the closest Clan Cat, he knew what it was to lose part of yourself, he had lost his sight after a fight with some dogs, but his future as the medicine cat would remain sealed. He nodded to the cat he was treating , the stench of blood was in the air and it was not pleasant.
Featherpaw bounded through the caves after he father, an apparent joy, but not inside, it hurt her to see cats die for things like terrirtory, but it was the way of the warrior to defend the clan, and that is what she was in training for.

Blossompaw had the decency to blush when Eagle had apparently overheard her mocking him, though her fur hid her embarassment. Scowling at him, she was about to open her mouth and deliver some snippy reply in self defense when she heard her name called. Jumping slightly as Swallowsong raced over, she briefly thought she was in trouble for what she’d said before realizing Swallowsong hadn’t heard her and was coming over to make sure she was ok.
Smirking a little to herself, she arched her back and purred, rubbing against Swallowsong while giving off the persona of the world’s most innocent cat to Eagle. She saw Oakpaw glare at her, but now it was her turn to ignore him while Swallowsong fussed over her before turning on Eagle and demanding to know why he was there. To say Blossompaw was pleased that someone else was backing her up was an understatement though she at least attempted to hide her smug look behind her paw.
Blossompaw minded her manners as Cloudmist and Scarletstar also came over to exchange words with Eagle, Cloudmist’s being the most interesting as she demanded to know why their mother had abandoned them. Her eyes widening, Blossompaw realized that meant that Oakpaw and Featherpaw weren’t Clan cats. They’d been kittypets like her! She suddenly felt bad at how she’d been treating him and tried to give him an apologetic look, but he left. Feeling bad, she looked over at Featherpaw before looking at her paws quietly while the adults talked.
Oakpaw finally gave up glaring at Blossompaw. She was a lot of fun to be around, but when she got in one of her moods there was no arguing with her. He consoled himself with the thought that at least Windpaw was being reasonable about his dad being there. Sighing, he turned to see his mother also coming over as Eagle was introducing himself to Swallowsong. Oakpaw would have thought at least Cloudmist would have recognized his dad, but no. She took him for a rogue too. Growling slightly in frustration, he looked quite put out as Eagle had to yet again defend himself and explain who he was.
Oakpaw managed a smile when Swallowsong accepted Eagle, but frowned when Cloudmist demanded to know why his birth mother, Kizzy, had abandoned them. Wiping a paw across his face to hide his look of annoyance at Cloudmist, he stood up and walked a few paces away from Cloudmist and sat down again, his ears sticking out sideways, telling the cats gathered he was not a happy kitty. He straightened up a little when Scarletstar came over, but not much. He looked over at Featherpaw who was quietly watching and sighed. He noticed Stormpaw was gone and wondered where she went. Deciding she had to be more fun to be around right now he decided to go find her. He’d catch up to his dad later. ((hey cinder, you wanna do that thread with him and stormpaw in the central cave now?))
Twilightsong nodded as Ripplestream told him to take some cobwebs and tend to other ShoreClan cats that were injured. Ignoring his injuries, which were starting to hurt now that the adrenaline had worn off, he trotted off to look for other injured cats. He patched one ShoreClan cat before noticing another cat laying off to the side a bit not moving. Fearing the worst, that the cat was dead, he tentatively came over. Relief spread through him as he saw the cat was just unconscious and breathing fine.
He sniffed the female and found it was Snowveil, the StormClan warrior that had been infuriorating Cinnamonstreak earlier. Not one to hold another cat’s grievances, he took a piece of cobweb and gently wrapped her maimed paw, being careful in case it was broken so he didn’t make it worse. Once he was satisfied with his work, he tentatively grasped her scruff and pulled her out of the rain. Once he was sure she’d be okay, he left her to go find Heathersky and let her know he’d found Snowveil. ((I know you said you wanted her to get lost, was that okay that Twi tended her paw and moved her out of the rain? If not let me know and I’ll delete it and we can pretend it didn’t happen.))
Cinnamonstreak was relieved when Heathersky said Dewpaw would be okay and Dewpaw seemed to be settling down. He then saw Crystalpool run over and nearly faint and rolled his eyes at her while softly growling a warning for her to get lost. If his fur hadn’t been plastered to his frame by the rain, he’d have been bristling too. Crystalpool seemed to get the hint and left and Cinnamonstreak calmed down again. He would never again consider Crystalpool to be a Medicine Cat and he had a strong feeling several other Clan cats felt the same way. Despite the feud between his clan and hers, she had no excuse to break the Medicine Cat Code and hurt Dewpaw’s paw worse. Cinnamonstreak was determined to never forgive her for it. Having watched how she conducted herself only deepened his convictions that she was no Medicine Cat.
Cinnamonstreak nodded as Heathersky reassured Dewpaw the fight was over and glanced over at Stormpaw who was looking anxious. “Don’t worry, I doubt those warrior wannabes will be back anytime soon.” He said, mistaking her anxiety to mean she feared they might return. Had he known she was pining after the other Apprentices, especially a StormClan one, his reply wouldn’t have been nearly as comforting. “I’m going to see if there’s still anyone else left out in the rain before you treat me if that’s alright.” He said before heading back out into the rain before she could stop him. He knew once she cornered him and treated him, he’d be stuck in one spot for a really long time.
Quickly scurrying out of the cave, his attention was caught when he saw a Clan cat and a Rogue finishing up a fight. As the Clan cat ran off, the Rogue turned and Cinnamonstreak got a good look at her face – it was Suketsu. His heart started to beat kinda funny and he wondered why he was so glad to see she was ok. She was a Rogue! Shaking his head to try to clear his thoughts, he ran over when he saw she was standing over a prone Clan cat. For some reason, he knew she wasn’t going to hurt the cat, though he had no idea how he knew that.
As she limped away before he could reach her, he growled irritably at himself for feeling… disappointed? that he hadn’t talked to her. Mentally asking what his problem was, he shook his head and nudged the unconscious cat. It was Batpaw, a ForestClan Apprentice. Without thinking, as half his brain was still processing having seen Suketsu again, he dragged the Apprentice into the cave ForestClan was using and yowled for a ForestClan cat to come get him. Done with that, he wandered back into the cave EmberClan was using and sat idly down, waiting for his turn when Heathersky would treat him. In the meantime, he let his thoughts turn towards a certain rogue that for some reason, he really hoped he saw again soon…
((okay, I’ma not reply here anymore. Anything done here to my charries, I’ll just carry it over into whatever Clan cave they’re in, ok?))

Eagle nodded his big tabby head, smiling at both of the she-cats. When Cloudmist mentioned Oakpaw's and Featherpaw's mother, his yellow eyes hardened with resolve. "Kizzy didn't abandon them. We discussed it for a long time; every now and then, she couldn't sleep at night, she was so worried about them. But we accepted our decision: they should never have to be penned in as kittypets.
"It was a tough choice to make, and we both thought long and hard about what we were doing, but in the end it made more sense to allow them the freedom that would come with being wild. All the better... because..." Eagle trailed off sadly for a moment, then continued, choking a little on his words, "Kizzy's twolegs took her away. I think they knew she had given the kits to another cat, because they searched all over for them, and I hid their trail well. However, they would have been taken by the twolegs and suffered the same fate as she did had they been kept by us, so I still feel we made the right choice."
He calmed, and when Scarletstar approached, he dipped his head politely. She had an air of authority around her, so he knew that this must be the leader, and she carried the same scent of StormClan that his son and daughter did. "I am Oakpaw and Featherpaw's father, Eagle. I live with twolegs." He preferred not to use the term kittypets, for it was an indication of softness; the hard muscles that rippled under his thick pelt were indication enough that he was no such thing as soft. Returning Blossompaw's smile, his heart was warmed to be around the Clan cats, and he again felt that wanting to be one of them, but he belonged to his elderly twoleg and with her he would choose to stay. ((If he were offered a position in one of the Clans he would probably accept though. ))
Standing and shaking out his dark tabby fur, he glanced in the direction that most of the Clan cats were heading, towards the caves. Unsure of whether or not he was welcome there, he gave one last glance to the she-cats, and trotted over to the caves.
I glanced up to see Mousepaw weave his way past the limp cats on the ground, and my heart started to beat a little faster. Don't let anything interfere with your duty as medicine cat of EmberClan, I chided myself mentally, and turned back to my work. Glancing up I noticed that Cinnamonstreak was giving Crystalpool the evil eye, and I looked worriedly at the medicine cat, urging her silently that now was not the place to be, in order to avoid a fight. Hearing his words made me smile grimly; the rogues would definitely be back, and when they were, it would not be pleasant. At least we gave them a few scratches to think about.
I nodded to Cinnamonstreak, who had reassured Stormpaw; I was at least a little grateful for his reassurance, because I had my mouth and paws full of herbs and cobwebs. Finishing with the treatment, I looked up as the ginger tabby tom re-entered, and was about to meow for him to come for treatment, but I redirected my words as, "I think all the Clan medicine cats need to bring their cats to their own dens. EmberClan cats, we need to move to the den." ((Heathersky is now in the EmberClan den, please post your cats there, she'll treat 'em there.))
Upon hearing Heathersky's yowl, Jetmoon knew it was probably time for the ForestClan cats to get to their den too. Without waiting for further invitation he stood, trotting out of the outcropping and into the caves.
Kneading her paws on the ground, Songheart watched as Cinnamonstreak left the den, and though she glared daggers at him she would never attack a Clan cat. Not after the rogues had already fought them that day. Standing, she shook out her rust-red pelt and trotted off to the StormClan cave with her tail and head held high, proudly.
Windpaw stared curiously at the big dark tabby tom sitting before the cats. She was still seated by her mentor, but twitched her ear curiously as he began speaking about Oakpaw and Featherpaw. Deciding it might be a good idea to get a head start, and also excited about the idea of exploring the ShoreClan cave first, Windpaw dashed away and into the caves.
