Stonestream exchanged a glance with Ripplestream. And the SHoreClan medicine cat nodded. Ripplestream waved her tail around, and spoke softly, but with the authority of a medicine cat. "May I have permission to speak?"

Icebite followed her fellow clanmates down the hill, bright eyes shimmering. She took her spot among her fellows, trawing a six-toed paw across her ear. (Short, crappy, and really really late. Sorry guys! ^^; )

Hawkstar nodded respectfully to Ripplestream, giving the unneeded answer for all of the leaders. "Of course, please do."
ooc- She only answered for everyone 'cause it would take too long to wait for all four of us to post. xD

The young medicine cat stood on her paws and meowed loudly for all the Clans to hear. "I think the Clans should all move to Korkea Maa after this Gathering - the storms will start soon and probably the floods will come as well." Ripplestream sat down again and glanced at the leaders.

Feathermoon nodded in aggrement with Ripplestream, that made sence. The Clans wouldn't want to be cought in their campswhen the floods came.
Swifttail was startled at the medicine cats suggestion. Why move now when the storms were at least two days away? A little to soon in his oppinion. "Don't you think its a bit early to move to Korkea Maa?" he wispered to Songheart.

Swallowsong had heard Swifttail's comment and flicked her ears. The young warrior gave Swifttail a look and murmured. "You don't want to be caught off guard when the floods DO come, do you?" she asked.

Scarletstar flicked her ears before glancing at Hawkstar. Move to Korkea Maa? Maybe, but the storms wouldn't come for awhile. She gave her fur a shake and waited for one of the other leaders to say something.
Wildstorm murmured agreement with Swallowsong. "I was there when the first flood happened." She said quietly. "I don't want to be caught off guard again."
Yinpaw and Yangpaw listened to the cats with wide eyes. Then had never seen a flood before. Huddling closer together for comfort, they waited for someone else to speak.

Flameheart nodded. "That might be the safest thing to do." She meowed quietly to nobody in particular. She remembered the floods from the year before and though it would be best to move earlier than be too late and loose cats.

Dawnpaw listened to the other cats opinions with dismay. "What about my training?" she mutter aloud to herself.
Lightstream nodded in agreement with Ripplestream. "At least that is the safest way."
Owlclaw looked up at Hawkstar for her reply.

Swifttail, turning to Swallowsong and Wildstorm, answered softly, "Yes, but leaving tonight? It's late, everyone's tired and There's so much to do before we have to move.'

Swallowsong glared at Swifttail, "Would you rather drown?" she retorted.
Pebblestone had heard his appretnice's comment, "Your training can wait."

"Of course I don't want to drown!" replied Swifttail hotly. "I just don't want to move tonight. There are so many things to do and it's very late." Swifttail repeated, despratly trying to get his point across.

Owlclaw grunted an agreement with Swifttail. "Yeah, the flood won't come tonight, so what's the point of moving in the middle of the night?"
"But it'll be so boring being stuck in Korkea Maa and not allowed to hunt in other places.", Dawnpaw whined unhappily.

Hawkstar nodded thoughtfully. She'd already considered the possibility of sheltering at the hilltop, though it hadn't occured to her to before the storms came. "That's a good suggestion," she said. Her tail twitched and settled again closer to her side as she glanced around at the other leaders. "If we all agree, perhaps we could meet at Korkea Maa at a set time, the day after tomorrow?" Hawkstar paused a moment for her words to sit, then continued. "The storms are still a distance away, and I imagine we'll all need time to clear out the camp." Medicine cats especially, she added silently. I'll have to remember to ask a few other apprentices to help Feathermoon and Yangpaw with carrying supplies.
ooc- Credit for the idea behind Hawkstar's suggestion to whoever first mentioned that they should prepare a day or two before dropping everything to move camps. Feathermoon, I believe. I would've left it to you, but your cat was in the crowd and Hawk was on the rock with a chance to bring it up, so... *shrugs* Hope it's okay with you.
Question: should the clans send a scouting party ahead to make sure the dens are still habitable? At least, that would be the leaders' reason, but it would give the scouting party a chance to run into the rogues. That would make it a little more even, since four clans against five rogues doesn't make for a very interesting fight. *laughs*

OOC - That's a good idea. ^^ Can Blitfire go since he's a new warrior and he has a bit of a temper? That would make it more intiresting if they encounter rogues. >.<
Scarletstar nodded agreement with Hawkstars words. "Thats is a wise decision, Hawkstar." She said, half purring. "I remember the floods last time. We were unprepared, and cats died."
Wildstorm flattened her ears disapprovingly at Swifttail and Owlclaw. "Quiet down, will you?" she hissed. "Just listen to the leaders."
Yinpaw thought of the large bare expanse of Korkea Maa and shivered. She didn't want to spent a lot of time up there, but she would rather do that then drown. Yangpaw pressed himself against her and lifted his head high. He would do everything he could to support his clan and their decisions.
