OOC: Actually, I don't think he should've told her. I mean, wouldn't she have had a huge reaction?

Seamist peered at Cloudmist with her sea-green eyes warily. She could probably trust Cloudmist, since she was her brother's closest friend, but if Scarletstar ever got wind of his betrayal, he could possibly be exiled from StormClan. "I'm his sister," she mewed at last. "And I want to do what's right for him. Secretly meeting Ripplestream can`t be what`s right for him...right?" Her voice had a pleading note in it; it was tearing her apart, really, the pain of killing her brother's relationship for his own good.

"I'm not stupid," Cloudmist glared at Seamist, "I know you're his sister, but wait---what?" Her green eyes widened as Seamist mentioned Ripplestream and Shadowfire meeting. Besides, the tortoiseshell couldn't bring herself to keep getting mad at the ShoreClan cat, she looked slightly miserable and she seemed actually sincere. "Uh...did you just say...Ripplestream and Shadowfire are meeting? You mean..." she dug her claws into the ground and hissed quietly. "No!" Flashing emerald eyes met blue (?). "They can't!"

OOC: GREEN. SEA GREEN. xD Seamist nodded, SEA GREEN eyes flashing dangerously. "It's true," she mewed bitterly. "I saw them together once, and then Ripplestream and I had a huge row about it. It lead to something about…Pebblestone, and let’s just say I’m lucky that she hasn’t put nettles in my wounds yet. She turned her blue-grey head towards the other she-cat. For some reason, she reminded her of her own daughter, Hazeltear – although she guessed that it was probably because of the color of their pelts. “Will you help me show them that they’re not meant to be?” she mewed. “You’re close to him; you know him better than I do. It’d be better if there was pressure on them from both Clans.” Her voice nearly broke with the force of her anguish. “I know it isn’t right, breaking them up like this,” she whispered. “But neither is letting this continue. Right?” Not once had Seamist ever opened up to another cat like this before since her beloved mate had died. Now, she felt shame seeping through the hurt and pain in her heart at behaving this way, especially in front of a cat from another Clan. She took a moment to compose herself, and met Cloudmist’s gaze levelly. “Please, help me. If not for me, then him.”

ooc - *backs away slowly*
Cloudmist thought about what Seamist said for a moment then finally meowed, "I'll try, but I can't guarantee that he'll listen," she twitched her tail and muttered, "You know what he's like. Stubborn." Her green eyes flickered from Shadowfire's sister's face to somewhere in the distance. There was a dark shape, then it disappeared again. Could it be Shadowfire? On sudden impulse, the tortoiseshell warrior stepped over the border and pressed her muzzle against Seamist's shoulder, murmuring a few words of comfort; she couldn't bear seeing another cat so distressed. Besides, if Shadowfire was her own brother, she would've tried so hard to stop him from getting hurt unnecessarily by meeting a medicine cat of another Clan. Then her eyes widened and with ears growing hot with embarrassment, she quickly stepped back on the StormClan side. "Um...sorry..." she mumbled, looking at her paws, turning away slightly. "I just thought...um, nevermind." She had never done that to a cat from another Clan before and her whiskers twitched a thousand miles an hour. Never had the StormClan she-cat seen a ShoreClan cat open up to a stranger. Well, she wasn't really a stranger, they'd met at Gatherings and stuff like that, but still, it was odd.

Seamist involuntarily took a step back as Cloudmist touched her shoulder. Sure, she had just poured out her heart to the other she-cat, but the contact seemed too familiar for cats who had only met before at Gatherings. "It's all right," she murmured; Cloudmist had probably just been caught up in the moment. "Now then, we should find Shafowfire and Ripplestream," she meowed steadily. "This way." She drew the scents of the forest past her scent glands, ignoring the earthy smell of the soil, and she and Cloudmist's Clan scents, and concentrated on the one scent she knew best. Shadowfire, she thought. Where are you?

ooc - SORRY! I was really busy! *hides*
Cloudmist nodded, her green eyes flashing nervously. She followed the other she-cat towards the scents of their Clan mates then she noticed movement in the bushes nearby. "There!" she hissed quietly, her whiskers twitching. The tortoiseshell warrior crept forward, making sure her paws didn't step on a twig or something. Her eyes narrowed, they're in big trouble when we find them! she thought. Somehow, she felt a sense of achievement as she thought about the two cats getting into trouble with Midnightstar and Scarletstar. Odd...

Seamist nodded, and dropped into the hunter's crouch. It fitted, she thought dryly, as she stalked forwards alongside the other she-cat. After all, Ripplestream was her prey, and she was the hunter. Shadowfire, you are SO dead, she thought bitterly, as her paws glided effortlessly across the ground. Unlike her daughter, who preferred the water, she was more suited to densely forested areas. She started sprinting as she drew nearer, and pounced on one of the moving shapes. Shadowfire! she thought immediately, as his scent filled her nostrils. She grappled with the black warrior until she could flip him over, and pinned him down with her paws. Her sea-green eyes were sad as she gazed at her brother. "What have you done?" she whispered.
Shadowfire's senses were on full alert as he sensed the other cats closing in. "We have to run for it," he hissed, but no sooner had he done so, he felt a weight on his back. Frantically, he tried to push his attacker off, but froze in shock for a heartbeat as he realized who it was. Seamist. One heartbeat was all that was needed, and he felt his body being rolled over as his own sister held him to the ground. He just barely caught her whisper, and held her gaze with his own amber eyes. His eyes were pleading, begging for her to let them go, but those piercing, green eyes calmly refused. His thoughts flooded to Ripplestream; he couldn’t see how she was, because of the paws holding his neck in place. “Ripplestream?” he mewed cautiously.

Ripplestream snarled quietly and bared her teeth at Cloudmist and Seamist. She slipped over to Shadowfire and nudged his ear with her nose. "I'm right here," she whispered. She turned her amber-green eyes to her own Clan mate, "Didn't I tell you to leave us alone?" she hissed, her tail lashing and eyes flashing threateningly. No cat other than Seamist had ever seen her like this before and they were bound to be shocked, but she didn't care. "Why are YOU here?" she growled at Cloudmist, who was glaring down at Shadowfire.
Cloudmist whipped her head from staring at Shadowfire to meet the furious gaze of the ShoreClan medicine cat. "You know you and Shadowfire shouldn't be doing this," her voice was sharp as her claws sheathed and unsheathed over and over again, but she knew she couldn't attack Ripplestream, however much she wanted to.

Seamist glared right back at her medicine cat. "I could care less about what you say," she spat. "This is for Shadowfire's own good. If Pebblestone could see you right now, he'd be ashamed. And I'd know - I've spoken to him in dreams. Have you?" This was stretching the truth quite a bit, but all she wanted right now was to wound Ripplestream - without unsheathing her claws. Which could prove unsuccessful, since the other she-cat was severely testing her patience.
Shadowfire's mouth gaped wide open. "Cloudmist?" he mewed. "What are you doing here?" It shamed him to be caught like this by his best friend and former mate. He would rather have been anywhere other than there at that very moment, but obviously, it was impossible. "Hey," he mewed sharply, as he saw claws being sheathed unsheathed. "No fighting, now. Stop it."

Ripplestream snarled at Seamist, unsheathing her claws. "You haven't seen Pebblestone, you liar. I haven't seen him at all. I've dreamed every night, but never of Pebblestone. What makes you think he's going to come to you if he isn't even going to visit me in my dreams?" Her amber-green eyes blazing, she hissed, "If you keep coming between me and Shadowfire, you'd better learn to sleep with your eyes open." The medicine cat was ready to fight with her brother's mate whether he was watching or not.

Seamist's lip curled in satisfaction. So Pebblestone had chosen not to visit his dearest sister after all, she mused. "I have - it's true. And it's really not hard to figure out why he hasn't been visiting you lately," she spat. "He told me to tell Hazeltear and Pinestorm that he loves them. Oh, but no mention of you. Wonder why?" Actually her mate had mentioned his sister; he had seemed disapproving of her relationship, but his view had remained neutral. She guessed that it was tearing his heart to see his mate and sister arguing, but there was nothing she could do other to argue. "Get away from my brother, crow-food eater," she hissed.
"That's enough," Shadowfire snarled, as he shoved his sister off. "Seamist, shut your trap. Ripplestream, stop arguing with Seamist. I won't let a fight happen if I can help it. And I can." He doubted that the two strong-willed she-cats would even listen to him, but he himself could give others a lashing with his sharp tongue when he felt like it. Even if they were his mate, his sister and his best friend. His heard thudded as he sensed the tension in the air; it felt as though it was charged with electricity.

What?! How could PEbblestone do this to me? Ripplestream gasped slightly and kept her disappointment from showing, but the silver blue she-cat suspected her Clan mate was twisting the truth a bit. She stepped closer to her mate as Seamist told her to get away from Shadowfire, "And what if I don't?" she snarled challengingly. "You'll tell Midnightstar and Twilightsong, right? Well, Midnightstar herself broke the warrior code, a she-cat leader can't have kits, and guess what? She did," her amber green eyes flashed.
Cloudmist growled angrily, "Shadowfire!" she meowed sharply, "You know you shouldn't be doing this so step AWAY from Ripplestream and forget about her, or at least stop meeting her." Her tail lashed and she padded forward a few steps until she was right next to the black tom and grabbed his scruff and pulled.

Seamist ears roared with anger as she heard Ripplestream criticize Midnightstar. "She knows it was wrong, which is why she isn't leader for the time being," she hissed softly. "So Midnightstar broke the warrior code. So what? That doesn't give you permission to fool around and break it even further on your own." She stepped forwards, her nose almost touching Ripplestream's. "And you know what? I AM going to tell Midnightstar. This has to stop, even if you're too selfish to admit it." Her sea-green eyes narrowed dangerously as she flattened her dappled silvery-blue ears. "Either way, you will live to regret it, Ripplestream," she meowed, in a voice that was curiously devoid of emotion. "You will be judged by the highest powers, and you will be condemned. I promise you that." Seamist shook her head. For a moment. it had felt as though her mouth was moving on its own accord. Her anger came rushing back as she held the gaze of she-cat she had trusted, the one she had gone to for help.
Shadowfire flailed as he felt Cloudmist grabbed his scruff. He got up and shoved her roughly aside, sending her sprawling, as he growled, "You have no right to stick your nose into my business. Seamist, maybe, but not you. So get lost!" His dam of frustration and pent-up anger finally burst, as he rounded on his fallen friend. Almost of theirown accord, his claws unsheathed, and he felt them ripping into Cloudmist's muzzle. Mingled satisfaction and horror fought inside his disloyal heart; he had just attacked his own Clanmate. What's more, it was...Cloudmist. The one who had been his mate, and who had then become his closest friend. Great StarClan, what have I done? he thought, panicking, as he sat down hard. "I'm sorry," he whispered. "I'm so sorry. Are you all right?"
