(oooh Windpaw! Come here Windpaw! xD Others welcome too)
Stalking through the edge of the trees, the bored 7 month old cat paused and glared her inspection of the area. Seeing nothing of interest, Blossompaw stalked out of the woods into the Dunes. She was so SICK of being bored. There was NOTHING to do and she wasn't about to ask her mom for something to do. No way. She'd already changed the bedding and wasn't about to check anyone for ticks today. It was SPRING for crying out loud. You'd think there'd be something to do, but no. Twilightsong was too busy fretting over Midnightstar who was constantly tired so she didn't have a mentor.
Growling and tackling a small knobby bush, Blossompaw had it ripped to shreds in under a minute. Glaring at the little bushy bits scattered around her, she sighed and kicked a pawful of dirt and watched as the breeze picked up some of the finer dust particles and scattered them.
Blossompaw wasn't a true rebel in the sense she bucked the rules all the time, but she was the type to get bored and once bored, she quickly became a pawful since she would channel her energy in ways that weren't always good. It's all Midnightstar's fault! If she was around to train me, I wouldn't cause so much trouble. Blossompaw sulked mentally as she saw a lizard poke it's head up over the top of a dune and survey the area.
Blossompaw waited until the lizard felt safe and wandered closer after a beetle before suddenly leaping up and roaring at it (actually more like a shrill meow mixed with a growl). The lizard tripped over itself and fell backwards before fleeing. Blossompaw watched with a smug look of satisfaction before realizing she no longer had something to torment to amuse her. Scowling she turned her attention to the hapless beetle that had nearly been the lizard's lunch. Whapping it with her paw, she made it her latest victim and kept whapping it so it would struggle and try to escape from her, only for her to walk up and whap it again. Not caring if she was caught tormenting an insect, Blossompaw kept whapping it while looking for something else to torment in an attempt to escape her boredom.
(someone wanna help Blossompaw cause some trouble? xD)

It had seemed like a perfect newleaf day when Windpaw had set out from the camp. It was a lot warmer than the chilly leaf-bare that had just passed. Some water still sat in puddles from the flood, but most of the territory was still teeming with life. In fact, all of it was, including all the water. There were bugs all over the place.
The puddles were perfect breeding grounds for mosquitoes, mayflies, and other bugs. The mosquitoes almost never bothered Windpaw, or any cat, because of the fur blocking the cats from being bitten, but the insects could still leave itchy bumps on one's nose if one was not careful. This had already happened to the brown-and-white apprentice several times, but fortunately, the bites had all faded quickly. There were also a lot more ticks around, which was more unfortunate. Ticks were itchier and, even worse, sometimes carried sickness.
Windpaw padded through ShoreClan territory, utterly bored. Like she had thought, it was a pretty day, but there was nothing to do. It wasn't too terribly humid, like it sometimes was in greenleaf, but that didn't help boredom at all. In fact, it only made it worse, because she wasn't tempted to stay in the apprentices' den to stay cooler. She wanted to venture out of the camp and find something to do.
Imagining Swallowsong's chiding when she found out her apprentice had left again, she cheerfully pushed the thought aside. Making note to seem utterly oblivious that she had broken the rules again, she was well aware that it never worked, but it still seemed good to try. Looking around with bright, fiery blue eyes, she narrowed her glare on a leaf. Stalking stiffly up to it, she mewed aloud, "Want to pick a fight with me?" Without waiting for an answer, she pounced, skewering it in her claws.
It was tatters in seconds, and then she was bored again. Her imagination was good, but she was not in the mood for imagining things right now. Then, she caught a familiar scent, and her mood perked a little. Maybe she could have some fun during the boring newleaf day. Creeping upwind in the direction of the scent, she peered through a little bit of brush to see Blossompaw, tormenting a beetle.
Grinning wickedly, she had her plan thought out in a few seconds. Pausing for a couple of moments, poised to jump, she pounced. "I am the great beetle, leave my child alone!" Trying to make her voice ring with authority, she tried to stifle a giggle and failed.

Tired from the journey home back to Shoreclan Territory, Glacierfrost had left camp in search of peace and quite. Usually, he would have been the first one to jump up and help the clan, either hunting, patrolling, or mending. Today, however, the normally jolly warrior felt depressed. Without any energy, he had wandered over the dunes to try and catch up on his sleep.
Not 5 seconds passed before he had closed his eyes when he heard the sound of leaves being shredded. Thinking of a cat jsut passing by, he closed his eyes again. Then the sound became louder, and he heard a constant whap! Whap! Whap! Then,
"I am the great beetle, leave my child alone!"
What in the world? Glacierfrost got up to see what was happening. There was Blossompaw, whapping a poor, unfortunate bettle, and Windpaw trying to sound authoritive. "Hey, you two!" He called out to them, his eyes flashing in anger. "Have you nothing else to do to torture that insect? Or a cat lacking sleep?" The tom hadn't meant to be so snappy, but it came out anyway.

(muwhahah....)
Whap! "Take that" Whap! "you evil" Whap! "monster!" Whap! Whap! Whap! Blossompaw growled meanly as she abused the poor beetle. It was trying it's hardest to get away from her, scrambling all over the place, but Blossompaw was merciless. The beetle would only get a few feet away at most before her paw would smack it into the dirt, leaving it the flail its little beetly legs around and attempt another bid for escape.
"I am the great beetle, leave my child alone!"
Blossompaw whirled around and leaped aside as she heard someone coming to the beetle's defense. For a moment she thought some cat from StarClan had showed up and then she realized it was just Windpaw. Heaving a sigh of relief, Blossompaw was glad to see her and giggled before managing to scowl. Now she had someone to play with! Blossompaw was about to playfully retort back when another voice sounded behind her.
"Hey, you two! Have you nothing else to do to torture that insect? Or a cat lacking sleep?"
It was Glacierfrost and he looked mad. Blossompaw rolled her eyes at him and saw her beetle was feebly trying to escape. While the other two cats had showed up, the beetle had worked on getting out of there as fast as he could in vain hope the huge mean cat wouldn't see him, but no such luck. Her paw pounded him into the sand once more and the beetle twitched a few times before resigning himself to his fate and tried halfheartedly to creep away...
After deliberating whapping her "toy" again, she looked over at Glacierfrost and mewed sweetly at him. "Well, you could go nap elsewhere if our hunting practice was bothering you." She said with a cute smile that either made you want to slap the crud out of her or smile back at her depending on how cute you thought she actually was.
"We're just working on our pouncing skills." Blossompaw said as she eyed the beetle again out of the corner of her eye while it slowly inched away. It hadn't gone maybe six inches before she stomped it again. "See?" She said nonchalantly as if she was informing Glacierfrost of something irrelevant, such as the weather.

Windpaw grinned mischievously at Blossompaw. Noticing that the other apprentice was about to reply, she quieted for a second when she heard Glacierfrost snap at them. Turning to face him, she opened her mouth to make a sarcastic comment when Blossompaw spoke.
"Well, you could go nap elsewhere if our hunting practice was bothering you."
Giggling, Windpaw bit back her personal retort, well aware that her mentor Swallowsong would have a few angry words for her if she said anything else. Donning an innocent look, she blinked a couple of times at Glacierfrost before turning back to Blossompaw. Leaning in to speak quietly, she murmured, "Stuffy ole tom." Grinning widely, she dabbed at the beetle a couple of times, waiting to be reprimanded if the warrior had heard her at all.

Talonpaw padded restlessly through the Dunes, eyes narrowed. His nose caught Blossompaw's scent... Glacierfrost's, and... Great StarClan Windpaw! Talonpaw's eyees flashed as he stalked into the little band of cats. "Hello Blossompaw."Suprised at what Blossompaw was doing, his jaw fell open. What? The? Heck? Talonpaw thought, grinning weakly. "What are you doing?" meowed Talonpaw, eyes wide. he overheard Windpaw speaking-why would he want to hear Windpaw speaking?- and he flicked his ears.
"Stuffy ole tom."
Talonpaw looked at Windpaw. "Nice job learing your manners." he half joked, trying to sound like a full grown warrior.

ooc//OMG! lmbo!
Glacierfrost hissed. Apprentices! He thought angrily. They never learn! He just grunted. He heard Windpaw's remark, but let it go. What's the use of listening to a bunch of arrogant know-it-alls?
Hearing some bushes rustle, he turned around. There, from the bushes came Talonpaw. "Nice job learing your manners." The apprentice joked. great, just what I need. He grumbled inside. Another apprentice. He looked hard at them, ice blue eyes flashing dangerously, and waited for someone to say something. He was NOT going without an apology.

Talonheart padded throgh Stormclan territory. What in the name of Starclan was all that noise. he padded onward until her found Glacierfrost and a mob of apprentices. Purring in amusment he bounded over to Glacierfrosts side. "Too many apprentices for you to handle?" He purred. Then he turned to the apprentices. "you know, it would be much more helpful to the clan if you were actually hunting prey worth eating!" he joked. he didnt want to be hard on the apprentices, even if it was newleaf and the prey was plentiful. But they could be cathcing real prey for the elders.

Glancing up at Talonpaw as the tom approached, Windpaw's muzzle curled in a sneer.
"Nice job learning your manners."
"Nice job acting like a high-and-mighty kittypet," Windpaw retorted. Narrowing her eyes at him, she was about to say something else when she heard a rustle of grass. Looking at Talonheart, she drew back a little. Something about having another adult there was a little unsettling, especially since it was true that they weren't really doing anything too productive. Blinking a couple of times and trying not to laugh at his comment to Glacierfrost about not being able to handle the apprentices, she listened to his next sentence a little blankly.
"You know, it would be much more helpful to the clan if you were actually hunting prey worth eating!"
Turning to Blossompaw, she saw a chance to escape from the adults. "You know, Talonheart is probably right. We ought to find something else to do." That something else could range in a broad spectrum, though she didn't specify. Grinning inwardly, she gave Blossompaw a look that said "Come on, let's leave before we're stuck here all day!"
