~Prologue~ The sun-golden fur of the large tom rippled in-sync with every rapid muscle movement, the shining moon bringing out his true colors. His usually defiant emerald eyes, were sabotaged by large black pupils, filled with fear and desperation. His fur clinging to his body, drenched with water, and a hint of drawn blood at the muzzle. He was moving swiftly through the forest, heading back to his camp, hoping he was not being pursued by the previous RiverClan brutes. His brisket heaved heavily as it tried to retrieve the loss of air throughout the ordeal. A wave of relief blew over him like a cold gust as the familiar scents of his clan made it's way into his nostrils. The scrawny tom hesitated in heading through the ever-inviting entrance. He shook his thick fur, to rid any sign of battle, and got the blood off his muzzle by rubbing it on a patch of grass.
Curse that RiverClan scum for driving me out of my rightful territory
The tom's nostril's flared as he brought up his memory of the battle, and how he had been humiliated on his own turf. The tom took in a lung-full of air, and bravely jumped through the entrance, leading into his camp. The apprentices were asleep already, but there were a few warriors that were still up, watching their deputy trample through the camp, looking like a shaken up mouse. The drenched tom hissed at the warriors and sent out a heavy paw, not to hurt them of course, but to scare them away from sight. It was effective, but only for a moment, but luckily he neared the entrance of his leader's den. As he came to the mouth of the opening, he gulped, and let out a raspy mew of greeting.
"Come in.." came a solemn voice from the dark incline in the rock.
The tom hesitated in making a paw-step inside of the dark cave, but was soon overcome by a fear of not going in, and quickly padded inside. The large tom inside, laying in a bed of moss, stared at him with piercing green eyes, glaring at him. His eyes were glazed with concern and questioning as the ragged tom padded into his vision.
"What has happened to you." asked the tom, now getting up urgently.
"The bloody warriors of RiverClan drove me out of Sunningrocks." replied the drenched tom gruffly.
"That is absurd, the Sunningrocks are rightfully ThunderClan's, what were you doing down there?" questioned the yellow striped tom as he came into better view.
"I was simply remarking the borders of ThunderClan, when three RiverClan warriors appeared from the river and attacked me." huffed the sun-golden furred tom, licking it dry, "I managed to make it out with my life, and a bad scar on my muzzle."
"I see, well go see the medicine cat, he'll be able to patch you up." meowed the other tom.
The yellow striped tom didn't say another word, and merely turned around to stare at the wall. He flicked his tail to the other tom, as a sign to leave, and didn't check to see if he had gone.
"So RiverClan is trying to take ThunderClan's Sunningrocks...?" murmured the tom to himself, "Never, not if I have anything to say about it."
The yellow striped tom lay back down into his moss bed, his ears lying across his head flat. The thought of RiverClan scum setting paw on his territory made his fur prickle, all the way to the tip of his tail. There was no way he was giving up his territory for those web-footed trespassers.

~Chapter 1~
The tiny blue scrap of fur wiggled her tail happily as her sister batted at her with a tiny paw. The six-moon old kit had spent her whole life inside the nursery with her sister and mother, the white scrap of fur playfully batting a paw at her, was Snowkit. And their mother was watching them, Moonflower, purring with amusement at her kits' energy. The blue scrap of fur, Bluekit, dodged the paw and gleefully pounced onto Snowkit. Though they were interrupted when Thistlekit padded inside the nursery, the usual defiant look in his eyes. Bluekit happily chased her sister into the camp, nipping at her hind legs lightly. Snowkit let out a squeal of excitement as well and darted into the warrior's den. Bluekit raced in after her, sniffing one sleeping warrior, after another. Suddenly, there was a small grunt of discomfort and a soft chuckle from a familiar voice.
"I believe you're looking for someone?" came the same voice.
Bluekit followed the voice until she came to one
"What are you kits doing?" scoffed Thistlekit, who happened to walk past their little squabble.
Bluekit ignored the paw that battered at her head annoyingly from Snowkit, and glanced coldly at Thistlekit. She never really did like it when Thistlekit paid them an unexpected visit, but Snowkit never seemed to be bothered by his cocky and defiant nature. Snowkit mewed a happy greeting towards Thistlekit and happily batted at his ear.
"Playin'! You wanna play too?" asked Snowkit gleefully, eyeing Thistlekit momentarily before going back to Bluekit.
"No, I do not plan on playing any foolish kit games right before I become apprentice!" hissed Thistlekit, and padded over to his mother to get groomed.
"Good riddance!" spat Bluekit with venom, and padded back over to her mother.
Snowkit looked disappointed that their playtime was ruined by Thistlekit, but she seemed to get over and padded after her sister. Bluekit hopped into the moss bed and waited for Snowkit to hop in as well. As she got in, Moonflower lovingly groomed their matted and moss-filled fur, trying to get them as perfect as she could.
"That Thistlekit, thinks the just because we're becoming apprentices, we can't play once more..." murmured Bluekit under her breath.
Snowkit shook her head in amusement and let her mother's tongue soothingly run down her back. Bluekit spat in disbelief at her sister's reluctant manner, and got two final licks, then was sent out with her sister to be ready to be called up to the High Rock. Bluekit happily chased after Snowkit as they emerged from the dark nursery, into the large and now-settling camp. Snowkit let out a squeal of excitement as she found that Bluekit was chasing her, and quickly darted into the den after her. She sniffed one warrior after another, until she heard a loud grunt of discomfort, and a chuckle of amusement. Bluekit followed the familiar voice until she came to the scrawny black and white tom.
"I believe you're looking for something." came the familiar voice again.
"Patchpaw..er....I mean Patchpelt!" meowed Bluekit happily, and hopped on top of the lump of fur.
Patchpelt had only became a warrior last night, and his vigil ended this morning! He was Bluekit's and Snowkit's most favorite apprentice, now he was a full fledged warrior. Bluekit playfully batted at his muzzle and nodded.
"Yup, I'm looking for Snowkit!" she meowed happily.
"Well, I think I found her." chuckled Patchpelt once more.
Suddenly there was a mew of amusement and Snowkit came from underneath Patchpelt slowly. Bluekit squealed happily and pounced onto her, nibbling on her ear playfully she was glad that she had found her so quickly this time. There was suddenly, there was a loud yowl that came from the High Rock.
"Hm, it seems you guys are becoming apprentices sooner than I thought!" meowed Patchpelt, and happily scooted the kits out of the den.
Bluekit and Snowkit squeaked gleefully and pretended that they were dead and needed to be scooted the rest of the way. Though, their playtime soon ended when Bluekit caught sight of Thistlekit, already sitting underneath the High Rock with his mother. Bluekit scoffed at how superficial Thistlekit was acting, and padded with her sister to where their mother was sitting below the rock as well. On top of the High Rock, was the same cat she say every other meeting, Sunstar. He looked noble and courageous as usual, his white and yellow striped fur rippling as it was buffeted by the wind. Right below him, she could see Tawnyspots, their deputy, with an unusual scar on his muzzle. Bluekit didn't care much for him, he was nothing like their leader, which made her hate the fact he was deputy, but all the same respected him. She looked to the Medicine cat's den to see if she could catch sight of him. Sure enough, standing in front of the opening was their Medicine cat, Featherwhisker. He was very kind and noble, much like his brother, Sunstar.
"Members of ThunderClan, it has come to my attention that three kits of ours, have now become six-moons, and are now ready to take on the responsibilities of an apprentice." howled Sunstar as the group of cats settled down, "May Thistlekit, Snowkit, and Bluekit step up to the High Rock at this moment?"
Bluekit and Snowkit slowly made there way to the base of the High Rock, but Thistlekit darted in front of them and hissed at them to get back. Bluekit and Snowkit held their ground, and quietly looked up to Sunstar. Sunstar's dim green eyes were blank, but they held the true expression of a leader, boldness.
"I say these words before Starclan, that the spirits of our warrior ancestors may hear and approve of my choice. The newest apprentices of ThunderClan are Thistlepaw, Snowpaw, and Bluepaw!" announced Sunstar, "Thistlepaw's mentor will be Longtail."
Longtail padded from the large crowd, over to his new apprentice, Thistlepaw. Ht lightly touched noses with him, and looked back to Sunstar and nodded.
"Longtail, you're a very noble and loyal warrior, I hope you will pass these traits on to Thistlepaw." continued Sunstar, nodding as well, "Snowpaw's mentor will be Tawnyspots."
The deputy padded from his spot by Sunstar, and made his way to Snowpaw. He touched noses with her briefly, and looked up to Sunstar.
"Tawnyspots, I expect you to pass on your courage and skill onto Snowpaw." continued Sunstar, "And Bluepaw's mentor will be Stonepelt."
Bluepaw had to hold back a squeal of excitement, she absolutely love Sontepelt, and anxiously waited to touch noses with him. Stonepelt swiftly went to his new apprentice's side, and touched noses with him. Though Bluepaw was so excited, she accidentally bumped his muzzle. Thistlepaw snickered with amusement, then turned back to Sunstar. Bluepaw ignored this gesture, and nuzzled Stonepelt.
"Stonepelt, we all love your strong and kind-hearted nature, please pass this on to you Bluepaw, and she will make a fine warrior."
And with nothing more to say, Sunstar swiftly made his way down the High Rock, and slowly padded into his den.
"Thistepaw, Snowpaw, Bluepaw!" chanted the crowd, nuzzling the new kits and congratulating them one by one.
Bluepaw was embarrassed by all the attention, but loved the fact that she was now an apprentice with her sister, and Stonepelt was her mentor! Stonepelt looked down onto his apprentice, and lightly nuzzled her.
"We'll start training early tomorrow morning." meowed Stonepelt, and padded off to the warriors den.
Bluepaw nodded and looked around for Snowpaw. She found her with Tawnyspots, murmuring something back and forth. Bluepaw decided not to bother them, and let out a long and tiresome yawn. It was getting rather dark outside, and her and Snowpaw had been up all day. She quietly and slowly made her way to the apprentice's den, glad that she no longer had to share a bed with her mother and Snowpaw, but felt a little scared, sleeping alone. She boldly padded into the den and found the perfect spot to lay down. As she curled up into the small moss bed, she fell asleep instantly, having wonderous thoughts about how great her training with Stonepelt was going to be.
I'll be ThunderClan's greatest warrior, they'll see, even Thistlepaw
