On and on the dunes stretched, eventually planing out onto a beach and into the wide expanse fo blue-green that was the ocean. Windchaser sat atop one of the dunes, levelling her gaze on the water far ahead of her. Its rolling mass shifted infinitely, never really ending nor beginning. Crabs and gulls moved about on the beach, the sand carved into intricate patterns by the tide. The tide was almost completely in, covering a good most of the beach in that rolling, churning water.
The new warrior she-cat looked at it with bright, almost electric-blue eyes. This was no new sight to Windchaser, but it never ceased to amaze her how much water there could be in one place. All the way to the horizon it stretched, and beyond that. If a cat was swept away, could they be spirited away on to the other side of the world, where another beach like this lay? She was oddly subdued by the question and the water, so very much more vast than she could even begin to imagine.
It was afternoon, and the sun beat down on the hot dunes. The brown-and-white she-cat tried to take no notice of the heat, but eventually it cloyed her fur and made her feel hot and sticky. Deciding to move around a bit, she stood up and started pacing back and forth.

It was a humid Greenleaf day, and seeking someplace to rest in the shade, one Emberclan warrior headed out of camp. She didn't feel like somewhere close by, and so, founf herself trotting towards the River. Finding a narrow strip, she crossed over, revelling in the cool water that soaked her belly. Foregetting that she was no longer a rogue and had to stay on her clan's property, Sablespirit continued deeper into Shoreclan territory.
She didn't know where her paws were taking her, but that was hardly the most important thing on her mind. As she cleared a dune, a pacing figure caught her eye. Trespasser! Was her immediete thought. Then she remembered. Wait, I'm the one trespassing! Hoping the other hadn't seen her, she quickly bounded away. If I get caught, I'm toast! She thought, panic in her eyes.

Pantherclaw was trekking through the hot and humid dunes. It was a bad idea to be out here during the afternoon, but it was all worth it in the end. Pantherclaw stopped a second to catch his breath before he collapsed. When he had his breath back, he continued his long walk.
I need to start working out more...
Pantherclaw finally reached the end of the dunes, where the ocean started. Pantherclaw had to stop himself from lapping up the disgusting salty water that lie before him. Nearby though, he found Windchaser, the new warrior. He padded over next to her and mewed lightly.
"Hey, Windchaser!" meowed Pantherclaw, "What brings you here?"

The she-cat stopped pacing when she heard pawsteps shuffling the sand behind her. Turning around, the thin warrior spotted another cat bounding away. "Wait, stop!" She was upwind of the other cat, so she couldn't tell from the scent who it was. Glancing at Pantherclaw, she grinned at the tom. "Nothing much, just exploring, but there's another cat over there."
Twitching her tail in the direction in which the other cat had retreated, she set off at a quick pace, streaking across the sand. Windchaser didn't get her name for nothing; she was a swift young warrior and pushed her hardest to catch u p to the other cat.

(muse sucks. *shoves Blossom in*)
Blossom had been out looking for her friend Windstorm. She hadn't seen her in awhile and was pretty bored. Windstorm was always good for coming up with cool things to do, even if the other warriors had issues. Pfft who cares. Blossom was now a warrior and finally could do whatever she wanted - well so long as it didn't violate the Warrior Code too badly.
Catching scent of Windstorm, she tracked her to the dunes where she saw her and another warrior, Pantherclaw. She mewed a greeting, just as some cat suddenly sprang up on a far away dune and took off. Windstorm was instantly after it and Cherryblossom wasn't far behind her. "Wait up for me Windstorm!" She called eagerly. If nothing else, a catch and tackle with a strange cat was fun.

[Pine has been oh-so-bored, and neglected. Hope ya don't mind. x3] Pinestorm wandered along the beach, looking for his sister and mate. Despite the fact that they hated each other and had nothing else in common, they both enjoyed splashing about, swimming, hunting fish, or simply gazing at the water for hours on end. She-cats are so weird, he thought in disgust. An unfamiliar scent wafted by one the breeze. "EmberClan!" he breathed, and sprinted off in pursuit. Pretty soon, he could see a group of cats clustered along the border, racing after the strange cat. Well, he could see that Windchaser was chasing the strange cat - Cherryblossom was probably chasing Winchaser. Great StarClan, they're fast," he groaned mentally, feeling moons older than he actually was. Hazeltear could always outrace him, ever since they were kits - his bulky frame was unsuited for running long distances, or even running fast in general. "Where's the intruder?" he spluttered, as he caught up to Cherryblossom, muscles screaming in agony.
