Sunstone slipped out of the warriors' den and stretched luxuriously in the chilly dawn light. He purred happily and went off to find some fresh-kill since he was going on patrol later. A few moments later, the ginger warrior settled down onto warm patch of sunlight beside the den, munching on a small vole, enjoying the peace and quiet before any of the apprentices came out.

Opalpaw looks into the sky, still dark but the sun is starting to come up....She sniffs the air, and smells a mouse, trying to get in hunter's crouch, considering she hasn't had any training yet, she spotted the mouse and jumped for it, stumbling as she went, of course the mouse saw her and began to run, so Opalpaw ran after the mouse. Running into camp after it, she just about ran over Sunstone, Opalpaw stopped running immediantlly, " I am so sorry Sunstone, I didn't mean to run you over, but that mouse just looked so good..."

Sunstone twitched his ears irritably as his apprentice pretty much fell onto him. He stood up and shook his orange fur and growled, but not too angrily. "It's okay," he meowed to Opalpaw, "Just stop babbling please," his green eyes glinted with amusement. "StarCLan knows what a mouse was doing in the camp in the first place."
"Why don't you get something to eat then we'll go training, seeing as you haven't had much of that," he suggested.

"Ok!" Opalpaw walks over to the fresh kill pile and takes a leftover mouse from the day before. She eats it pretty quickly, eager to begin training, "Ok, I am ready to go!" My first time training! she thought excitedly. I wonder what its going to be like...

Sunstone watched with an amused smile on his face and walked towards the camp entrance. "Come on," he meowed calmly, quite different from Opalpaw and flicked his tail to indicate for her to follow. The ginger warrior trotted towards the Oak Grove and glanced back occiasionally to see how his apprentice was keeping up.
ooc - Once you reply, I'll start a new thread in the Oak Grove...and close this

This is going to be so exciting! "Ok, I'm following." As she followed her mentor, she was getting more excited by the step. She noticed he kept looking back at her, I wonder what he thinks of me being his apprentice...Discarding the thought she kept following
