Lightstream tried to hide her impatience, but a lash of her tail gave her emotions away. The sun had already climbed higher than the tree-tops, warming her back. She shut her eyes to a slit and tried to enjoy the warmth, but her mind kept thinking, about what could happen at Korkea Maa, and, what concerned her most, where the other cats are.

A warm breeze swept like an echo over the ground, tussling the plants and undergrowth. A silver-spotted she-cat stepped lightly on this ground, pawtips glancing against the ground and raising, bringing Heatherpaw closer to the clearing. At a jaunty pace, she entered the clearing, ecstatic as ever to be allowed to go on the scouting party. My life as a medicine cat could depend on whom and what we encounter when we reach Korkea Maa, she thought, slightly anxious of this. Although rogues do live up there, I hope they aren't too unsettled by this. I should bring up the rogues when all the cats have arrived.
Heatherpaw looked around for a moment, taking note of all the present cats. "Greetings," She said with a dip of her light silver head.

"Greetings," Lightstream nodded politely to Heatherpaw, relieved that finally, EmberClan is arriving.

Ripplestream picked up both packets of herbs and crammed them into her mouth. The SHoreClan medicine cat trotted quickly over to EmberClan's medicine cat apprentice. "Hello, Heatherpaw," she meowed, putting down her herbs again. "Are you excited?"

Swifttail perded up his head when he heard the approch of more cats. When Heatherpaw came into the clearing, he nodded to her, looking back at the ground. Songheart still wasn't here yet, What's taking her so long? he asked himself, a little exasparated.

((Everyone's not here xD I have no clue if Songheart is going, for example.))
Heatherpaw nodded in greetings to Lightstream, turning to Ripplestream. Her silver eyes burned white with excitement. "Very much," She replied warmly. She is like the mother I never had... The thought occurred to the apprentice in an odd sort of way, like an epiphany lurking below the surface of the pond that was Heatherpaw's mind. Never having really thought about it much, she knew it was the case. 'Medicine cats live a life of solitude. They never know the love of another cat, but they see things that normal cats cannot; they walk the path of StarClan. They will recieve signs that will determine the fate of their Clan and can experience what no other cat possibly could. They live above the warrior code, and are allies to all cats of the forest. Clan rivalries do not seperate a medicine cat from their duties or responsibilities. Are you ready to take on this responsibility and devote your life to StarClan, no matter what?' The soft echo across her mind was a memory, close and sharp like the stars in the sky.
The scene replayed itself in her mind. Her eyes were closed, and she was no longer sure who was speaking to her. She felt a cool chill creep up her spine, soothing and yet harsh and icy like the moon itself. Reminding herself she was alive, Heatherpaw dispelled the memories and returned to herself. Realizing she had zoned out for a moment, she blunk a few times, returning to full consciousness.

Ripplestream's amber-green eyes were gleaming with concern. "Heatherpaw!" She pressed her warm flank to the apprentice's side. "Are you okay?" Her ears flicked around, What had Heatherpaw been thinking to get her like this? she wondered worriedly.

"I... I'm fine," She replied. "I was remembering my apprentice ceremony," She said more quietly, so that the other cats couldn't hear. "I won't speak too much of it, but whenever I remember it..." Her silver eyes locked on the sky.

ooc - Ok, so I know that Blitzfire is going, so should we just have Skysong come too? Ayway, I'm bringing him in...
Blitzfire bounded through the forest, eyes gleaming as he approached fourtrees. Trotting into the clearing, he noticed that ForestClan, ShoreClan and Heatherpaw were there. Dipping his head, he meowed. "Greetings, everyone."
Wildstorm nodded to the young warrior. "Hello, Blitzfire. Congratulations on being here as a warrior."

ooc- Ok, Flameheart is taking a while getting that thread up...
Skysong followed Blitzfire into the clearing, glancing around quickly. It looked like they were some of the last to arrive, Skysong could see someone from every Clan present.
ooc- Just for clarification of who's here: ForestClan: Lightstream, Owlclaw, Wildstorm
ShoreClan:Ripplestream, Pebblestone
EmberClan: Heatherpaw, Blitzfire, Skysong
StormClan: Swifttail, Songheart(?), Spottedsun, Stormwinds
Spottedsun and Stormwinds haven't shown up yet, but they were in the StormClan Scouting Party thread. I also looked at the Gathering and Tilly posted that she wanted Silversun to come to, but that hasn't been mentioned since. Songheart might come if Spottedsun and Stormwinds don't show up, other then that the list is whoever posted. Anything that I missed?

Ripplestream nodded slightly, her eyes shadowed faintly. "If you're sure you're okay," she murmured gently.
"Congratulations, Blitzfire, on coming as a warrior," pebblestone meowed to the new warrior, repeating what Wildstorm had said.
ooc - Perhaps Dawnpaw could come? Since she's now Dawntear.

ooc - Um, Stormwinds isn't coming for StormClan. I think I'm going request Songheart, if that's ok?
Wildstorm looked around. "We still need more cats from StormClan I think?" She meowed, counting them all.
Blitzfire nodded. "And there is only two of you ShoreClan cats." He said. "Is there someone else with you?"

ooc- I'll bring in Wolfriver unless someone would like a different Shoreclan cat to come. I'd kind of like to get her involved in something again.
But let's keep this plot moving. The post where they arrive at Korkea Maa should be started before too much longer ooc, and any late arrivals can catch up there.

(I didn't even realize this was here. O.o)
The blind warrior stepped lightly into the area, following the smell of the other cats, Shoreclan or not. His sister, Spottedsun, was beside him, though he had made it perfectly clear he no longer needed her help. He scented Ripplestream and Pebblestone for his clan and he nodded in acknowledgement to their general direction before he took his spot under a shaded tree. "How many cats are we expecting?" he mewed quietly, whisking his thick tail as he spoke. He mostly aimed his question at the two other Shoreclan cats, as he was unfamiliar with most of the other clan cats. Though he didn't want to admit it, he was glad that Scarletstar allowed his sister to join them. It encouraged him, though he was sure he could do well by himself. It was probably because she was the lone one who knew him best, though Hazeltear was a close second. Spottedsun followed her brother closely, her one working eyes watching his movements just in case he stumbled or tripped though he walked with confidence and no trouble. There was that pang again when she realized that her brother no longer depended on her like he used to. Did she make the right choice by leaving Shoreclan and joining Stormclan, she wondered before shaking off her thoughts. Of course she did, she was happy in Stormclan, she told herself fiercely before shaking off her thoughts. They emerged into the clearing where the cats were gathering. She noticed three other cats in her own clan and mewed a soft greeting to them before joining brother under the shade. Her tipped ear twitched when Silversun spoke softly but she didn't respond, though she was curious as well
(I guess almost anyone is welcome. Dawntear is free to come in, as are any cats. The more the merrier. lol)
