Running to catch up with her mate, Seamist dashed over to the other ShoreClan cats and followed Midnightstar as they moved back towards their own territory...

ooc - Hawkpaw, you might want to elaborate a little on your 'sentence'. I don't mean to nag, but could you make it more detailed? Maybe something like this: Cometstreak was thankful that they had finally defeated the stickhead. He slumped to the ground and sighed. Getting up again, the ForestClan deputy looked around for Hawkstar, his leader. You don't have to, hawkpaw, but your role-plays would be more interesting if you did.

ooc- *groans* Ohhhhmigosh. What was I thinking yesterday? *bangs head repeatedly on computer* You can't see me, but I'm grimacing. I almost want to delete that post.
She's right, Cometstreak. That's not the kind of roleplaying you showed me on your bio, or when I accepted you as Forestclan deputy. Please try to elaborate on the one-liners. As a deputy, you're supposed to be setting a good example and, no offense meant, two word sentences aren't going to cut it.

Blqzestar lead her clan out of the gathering and sighed with relief. It was all over, at leats for now. All she wanted was to curl up inside her den and hope for a good nights sleep.

ooc- Unfortunately, no. If we had a Gathering every full moon, we'd finish one a month after the next was due to start and end up with three or four going at once after a few months. Is it okay if we wait a few more weeks? Just one or two this time. By then, maybe we can have the fox plot started and they'll have something to discuss.

It had been several hours since the last clan cat left the Gathering. Only the moon and stars watched over the clearing and the huge furry hulk sprawled at its center. Suddenly the silence was broken as a massive groan began and grew, reverberating through Fourtrees in an anguished call. The fallen moose's body lurched and slowly righted itself on the ground, barely formed scars from a hundred scratches and bites stretching and shooting out sharp pangs of pain to the moose's brain in complaint. It groaned again, louder, as it slowly stumbled to its feet. Swaying slightly, it sent up an moaning, echoing call through the forest to the mountains and valleys far beyond clan lands. For a moment all was silent, but soon an answer came, an echoing honk-moan from several throats wavering through the air and back to the crosseyed moose. Its ears perked up, and it jolted forward in the direction of the sound, crashing back into the trees. Yes, it was sorely wounded, but it would not allow that to stop it from returning to its distant kin. They would guide it, ruined eyes or no. The moose sent up another moan as it trampled through the forest, its steps taking it farther and farther away from clan territory and the strange creatures who had attacked it. But the moose was not done with these strange small creatures with prickling claws. It would remember this place, and it would be back to have its revenge.

ooc- Okay, so the innocent/confused/blundering moose has turned into a creepy/scarred/malevolent thing that actually wants to attack cats. That's not quite how I meant for it to happen, but it can always have another attitude change while it heals faaaar away from our kitties.
So, yes, it's coming back (and will stay at least a week so everyone can fight it), sometime in the distant future (winter break?) when we're done with the fox plot and looking for more stuff to do. But not until then.

ooc- Yeah. Since it was agreed that you were going to before, and you only were able to make one post, you should be able to rp it again when it comes back.
