Flight broke away from fighting. and stuck her nose into the air. "You're lucky." she snarled evily. "I'm kind enough to leave." the she cat licked one wound. "Except me to be back, though..." she spat. Then witha irratated and angry sigh, she stormed toward rogue territory.

"If you come back, you'll find me waiting, rogue." Freewind snarled, the anger fading from her eyes. Sudden exhaustion overwhelmed her along with the pain of her wounds. Her vision swam, and she keeled over.
Kuroneko nodded to Flight, who was storming away, as if nothing had happened. "Well, why are you staring at me?" The tabby she-cat sniffed.

Pebblestone saw Freewind collapse onto the ground and raced over to his mate. "Freewind!" he cried frantically. The gray tom curled around his mate and rasped his tongue over her cheek. "Wake up," he whispered softly, "Wake up," he trembled a little. The warrior didn't want another mate to abandon him. He had grieved enough for Seamist.

Freewind was roused by the warm rasp of her mate’s tongue over her cheek. His gray silhouette wavered in front of her eyes. Unknown to herself and others, she had taken ill with the dreaded greencough! “Pebblestone…” She murmured. “I feel… so… weak…” She closed her eyes again, but remained conscious. Her breathing was ragged, and her fur gave of the smell of sick cats.
When Pebblestone rushed to his fallen mate, the crafty rogue slipped away silently. Kuroneko had no business with sick cats, and ddin't want ot fall sick herself. The grass waved as she slipped by them. The only thing that betrayed her was her scent that was left lingering there.
ooc/ Cna we end this thread with Freewind being taken back to camp? It doesn't have to end if you other people want to continue.

ooc - Let's take Freewind back to camp (Shiro and me). I guess the others can keep RPing here if you guys still want to.
Pebblestone nosed his mate gently. "Don't move," he murmured softly. He carefully grasped Freewind's scruff in his jaws and dragged her all the way to camp. Swallowsong was guarding the camp entrance when she saw her former mentor dragging his mate through the bushes. "Freewind!" she gasped. She noticed that Pebblestone was swaying a little on his paws. He must be exhausted! the young tabby thought. The two of them must have been in a fight to have gotten so wounded. She reached out to take Freewind's scruff from Pebblestone but he shook his head firmly.
ooc - Was that too much powerplaying for you, Shiro?

Freewind dimly remembered being dragged by her mate back to camp. She heard him speak, and then she remembered no more. As she lay in her own closed world, she wandered around. She saw the starry pelts of Starclan, and made to go join them. A cat stepped forward. She didn’t recognize him, but could tell he was from Shoreclan. “No,” came the voice. “You still have many seasons to go. Go back.”
“But why? Freewind mewed, feeling rejected by her warrior ancestors. “I fell so tired, I want to go rest.” She stepped forward again, and this time, the warrior hissed. “You’re mate awaits you. It would not be kind to leave him with two cats he loved dead. Go!” During this argument, she was twisting and moaning, making mewling noises like a kit.

Pebblestone dragged Freewind all the way to his sister's, the medicine cat's, den. "Ripplestream!" he called quietly. "It's Pebblestone and Freewind!" He gently lay his mate on the ground and crouched protectively beside her.
Swallowsong followed the gray tom and his mate until they got to Ripplestream's den. She had stayed beside the two for the whole time until they got to the medicine den just in case Pebblestone lost his grip, but he never did, although he did sway on his paws a little. Her warm amber eyes were sympathetic and once Pebblestone let go of gray tabby she-cat, she slipped away silently.
Ripplestream stuck her head out of the den as soon as she scented the smell of fresh blood. The pretty silver-blue she-cat saw Freewind and quickly ushered her into a moss and bracken nest. Instantly, she rushed over to her herb stores and pulled out some cobwebs and marigold and horsetail. She gently patted the cobwebs on Freewind's various wounds and started chewing up a poultice of marigold and horsetail.

Freewind lifted her head wearily, rosed by the smell of herbs. She turned her head, looking into the eyes of her mate, Pebblestone. "Please," SHe begged hoarsely. "Go away, I don't want you sick as well..." She coughed violently, and lay her head back on the ground.

Dawntear stayed around, watching Freewind and Pebblestone, unsure of what to do. Should she try to help? Should she run for help? Or should she just go away? "Uh..." she said awkwardly, "is there anything I could do to help?"

Ripplestream narrowed her amber-green eyes in concern for the gray tabby she-cat. She meowed, "Don't worry, Freewind. Pebblestone will not get sick too, you are just weak from the loss of blood," she assured Freewind. Pebblestone nodded, "I'm not leaving," he meowed stubbornly. Even if his mate was sick, he wouldn't go away just because he didn't want to catch her illness. He nuzzled her gently and purred softly to Freewind. Ripplestream sighed in exasperation. "Fine, but try and let her rest as much as possible. I've done pretty much all I can, unless you want a poppy seed or two to help the pain, Freewind?" she asked the injured warrior. She noticed Dawntear out of the corner of her eye, "No, Dawntear, we're fine over here," she meowed to the young warrior.

Absentnmindedly, Talonpaw wandered over to where the scent of blood was strong... Wait. Blood? Talonpaw bega pelting toward the huddle of warriors were nearby. "What happened?" he asked, peeking over Pebblestone's shoulder. Talonpaw didn't know he was butting in.

Hazeltear had been wandering around in her favorite part of the Western Riverbanks when she had scented blood. Cat's blood. Hurriedly, she dashed over to the source. "Pebblestone!" she exclaimed, as she caught sight of him. "Ripplestream! What's wrong?"

Freewind heard the muddled mewing of cat's voices around her. She tried opening her eyes, but blood had clotted on her left eye, drying and sealing her eye shut.
