Scarletstar looked down as Arrowpaw and Lambpaw, two of the newest apprentices bounded up to her exitedly. She purred and replied to Arrowpaw "That's great, Arrowpaw. You and your sister are both very quick learners." She glanced up at Cloudmist, smiling to show that she wasn't bothered.
Wildstorm felt Swallowsong was holding something back, but she didn't pry. "That's great. Everything's going fine in ForestClan too." She twitched her ears and looked around. "Is it going to start soon?" She wondered aloud, her tail tip flicking in excitement.
Blitzfire felt someone tumble in to him and he looked down to see Dewpaw. He grinned at her, his whiskers twitching in amusement. "In a bit of a hurry, are we?" He asked, flicking his tail over her ears. He usually wasn't so social with other cats, but the mood of excitement in the clearing was starting to get to him.
Yinpaw looked up as a faint scent of herbs reached her nose. Recognizing the scent of a medicine cat, she watched as Crystalpool and her apprentice Shadowpaw padded into the clearing and sat by the edge of the trees. Jumping up, Yinpaw trotted over, her tail waving in the air. "Hi, Crystalpool. Hi Shadowpaw!" She greeted them, a faint purr rumbling in her chest.

Dewpaw wanted to say : 'Sorrrrrryyy' again, but settled on : "Um." Then she bubbled over. "I can't wait for the competition to start! I bet I can beat everybody!" Being one with so much dignity, Dewpaw was too excited to realize she was bouncing on her paws.
Crystalpool smiled at Yinpaw. "Greetings, Yinpaw. How does ForestClan fare?" she mewed politely to the medicine cat apprentice. Briefly, Crystalpool wondered if Yinpaw wanted to only talk to Shadowpaw. After all, she was the really-weird-type of medicine cat.

Spirit sat down totally unknowing what to do. He sighed wondering why he even came if there was nothing to do. "What should I do, just go back to camp or go for a walk?" he whispered to his subconciousness. He didn't care if anyone was looking, he got up and walked off into the woods. 'See ya all later.' he said in his head. He kept walking on till he dissappeard under the bushes.

Seamist glanced up at Scarletstar. "Of course leaders can participate," she grinned. "Just make sure that you don't get too carried away; you have to set an example for the rest of your Clan, remember?" Offering an easy smile to the newcomers, she glanced around the clearing. More and more cats wee pouring in, but one cat was attempting to slip away. "And where do you think you're going?" she mewed to Spiritflame, gently cuffing him by the ear. "The games are about to begin!" Raising her voice, she added, "The first apprentice and warrior event - fishing - will take place on the ShoreClan Riverbank. For those who wish to participate, Swallowsong will show you the way."
OOC: Cloudii, please start the thread. ;D
Shadowfire purred in amusement at his apprentice's enthusiasm. "I'm not too great at it myself, but I'll try." He glanced over in Cloudmist's direction, hoping with all his might that she wasn't going as well - which seemed very unlikely. His amber eyes widened slightly as he watched Arrowpaw bounded over to Scarletstar. Great StarClan, what is he doing? he thought, and shot over to his young charge's side. "I hope he hasn't been bothering you," he mewed sheepishly, as he subtly trod on Arrowpaw's tail.

When Seamist cuffed him on the ear he knew he was caught. 'Darn it." he thinks. "I'm leaving because I'm no good at any of these events except wrestling, and I can't keep it under control enough to not hurt someone, ok." he answers to Seamist's question. "And anyways I've got somewhere to be." he said mysteriously. He then turned back and started padding away again.

Arrowpaw dropped his head as his mentor come up behind me. Gently scolding him for bugging Scarletstar. ''Shadowfire Arrowpaw mowed jumping a little then taking a few steps toward the ShoreClan border, before turning his head to wait for Shoadwfire, joy dancing in his eye.
Lambpaw looked over to Arrowpaw and picked up her sorry tail to fallow the ShoreClan Warrior , Shallowsong lead the way. ''Quit making yourself fell bad. Arrowpaw is your brother and no madder what he is kin. She scolwed herself running up to Arrowpaw and running her tail along his flank. Arrowpaw, Let's not fight anymore we are family She purred, it felt like she just fixed a season old problem.
Arrowpaw nodded to Lambpaw Forever sister He purred pressing his side her hers. Walking with her behind Shallowsong.
Lilywish jumped onto a tree stump. ''We all kits come over to me and Sablespirit for thier game She yolwed sweetly.

"EmberClan is fine, thank you," Frostflash replied. However, she was unable to say more than that as Lilywish padded away to begin the kits' games. I should be getting ready, too, she reminded herself sternly, and raised her head a little to look around the clearing for Adderfang and Songheart.
Shadowpaw ducked his head nervously as Yinpaw hurried over to him and Crystalpool. "Um... hi..." he meowed quietly. For some reason, he had never felt comfortable around the two other medicine cat apprentices. Was it just his usual introversion, but at an even more crippling level? Oh, stop it, he told his subconscious sternly. Today is supposed to be fun, after all. Looking up, he managed to give Yinpaw a small smile.

When Spirit thought he had his mind all made up his consience got the better of him.
"Oh fine I'll go back." he muttered. He then did a full u-turn and full tilt ran back to the games. Right before the clearing he stopped short and walked out. If anybody asked him where he went he would say he just went for a strees relieving walk, and nobody would ask questions.
