(sorry for the long wait everyone.)
"I don't think so. So, is that where you're staying? Doesn't seem much to me."
Cinnamonstreak grinned at her comment and rose to all fours when she emerged. She acted huffy, but Cinnamonstreak noticed she kept glancing at him with… interest? It was hard to tell, but his heart sped up a little and he found himself hoping she was checking him out. Wha?! Why do you want her to check YOU out? His mind asked, stomping on his train of thought. He kicked his yapping conscience aside for the moment and smiled a little at her. For some reason, he was really glad to see her…
Cinnamonstreak heard Owlclaw approaching and caught himself admiring her figure just in time to be able to act like he'd actually been scrutinizing her to make sure she wasn't a threat as Owlclaw stopped next to him. When Owlclaw asked if she was a prisoner, Cinnamonstreak's mind drew a blank as he looked over at Suketsu. She'd rather roll over and die than have anything to do with being a prisoner! He thought to himself… just as Suketsu proceeded to go for an Academy Award for the most convincing act of a prisoner ever performed.
Cinnamonstreak lowered his head and covered his face with a paw as he worked on deciding whether he wanted to die of embarassment or laughter. Somehow he knew he'd die at Suketsu's claws later if he dared to so much as look like he found her act funny. After a few moments, he composed himself and looked up as Flickerheart came over and told Owlclaw to quit being mean while introducing Minttail. Naturally that upset Owlclaw who'd nearly gotten shredded by a Rogue and he practically took Flickerheart's head off. As Owlclaw turned on Suketsu, Cinnamonstreak cleared his throat to get everyone's attention and to divert the topic before a fight broke out.
"Yeah. She's… my prisoner. I'm escorting her to Heathersky for her injuries. She might be a prisoner, but even prisoners should get medical attention." He said intelligently while drawing himself up tall and stalking over to Suketsu. "You heard me prisoner! Get moving!" Bringing up his paw to roughly shove her further down the tunnel, he hoped Suketsu would keep playing along. Try as he might, deep down Cinnamonstreak was oddly relieved Owlclaw had mistaken her for a prisoner because now she couldn't leave. At least not right away. Unsure of what Heathersky would think of this interesting development, Cinnamonstreak forced himself to focus on treating Suketsu like a prisoner while herding her into the cave the rest of the Clan was staying in.

Suketsu opened her eyes a bit when two cats introduced themselves in a friendly way. She was even more surprised when a tom snapped at Minttail. Ha! Scratched by a rogue, eh? That'll teach you to mess with us. She resumed her position as a defeated prisoner, but not before noticing that Cinnamonstreak was trying to-unsucessfully-cover his laughter. She made a mental note to claw him later.
"You heard me prisoner! Get moving!"
Suketsu shot Cinnamon daggers with her eyes. She was about to tell him off, but checked herself. Not yet, Suketsu, SHe thought to herself. You'll have your chance to stuff his tail down his throat yet! She grudgingly allowed herself to be pushed into the cave to "Get her injuries treated," As Cinnamonstreak had said.
As she entered the cave, the rogue saw an assortment of cats lounging about. Suketsu hoped they would ignore her, and keep on with whatever they were doing. No need for more attention when a tom was giving you all the attention you needed. And didn't need.

Mint-tail shrugged and padded back to Blitzfire. Thank Starclan! He's still there, I haven't run him off! Yet... She sat down with a sigh. She rested her head the closest she could get to his warm pelt, she drifted off to sleep.
Flickerheart watched his dear friend, and secret crush, lay down beside Blitzfire. He hissed silently to himself in rage. He curled up by her, Just so the furball won't freeze! The voice in his head mewed, Kill Blitzfire! The voice continued, No, sleep... and all vengeance was forgot as he curled around Minttail.

Heathersky treated a couple of cats in the few moments that things had been fairly quiet. Watching Cinnamonstreak start to walk towards her, Heathersky began to gather her herbs again, when he casually veered away from her after a meow was heard. Curiosity urged the EmberClan medicine cat to check out what that was, and she felt kind of like a rogue as she stowed herself behind a few rocks near the cave's entrance. Watching Suketsu come out of the shadows, Heathersky didn't think anything of it. There might still be rogues about.
But to her surprise, Cinnamonstreak did not attack this rogue. In fact, Suketsu almost seemed to be... no, Heathersky, that's silly, she told herself. Looking back at Cinnamonstreak, however, she pretty much confirmed her thought, seeing the expression in his eyes. She was about to return to treating the other cats when she spotted other Clan cats coming towards the two. Mousedung! she thought, knowing that the other Clans had their own seperate caves, and they didn't need to be at the EmberClan cave unless they were in EmberClan.
Cinnamonstreak seemed to handle that nicely, saying that Suketsu was a prisoner, and Heathersky backed up a few paces. Calmly walking back towards the herbs, she knew enough to know that the injured rogue would need treatment. A couple of moments later, Cinnamonstreak and Suketsu came in, and Heathersky's silver eyes revealed nothing about knowing the EmberClan warrior and the rogue's behavior. Any cat with half a heart would help, and what's stopping me from believing that she is just a prisoner? Maybe she is, I have no way of knowing.

(*snicker* Suketsu a prisoner. rofl. good one Owlclaw ) Grateful the other Clan cats took the message and backed off, Cinnamonstreak mentally breathed a sigh of relief. It was shortlived when he saw the look Suketsu shot him. Heh. Yeah... you just like to dig graves for yourself doncha Cinny? His mind cooed at him before he batted the thought away and followed Suketsu down the tunnel.
As he followed her, he did his dead level best to ignore the slight sway of her hips as she strolled down the cave in front of him. He knew he'd die then, and most likely savagely, if Suketsu knew he'd thought that of her just now. He couldn't believe he thought it himself, but a tiny part of him was trying very hard to make him realize where his thoughts and feelings for the rogue were going, but he was determined to ignore the tiny voice for now.
As he entered the main cave area, he directed Suketsu to where Heathersky was sitting impassively. He glanced into her eyes to see if she suspected anything, but as usual the Medicine Cat was unreadable. Somehow that comforted him, the longer he could bury his head in the sand about where all this was heading, the better. He stopped next to Heathersky and forced his face to stay as impassive as hers.
"I have a prisoner. Name's Suketsu. Even prisoner's need medical attention." He stated as his mind wondered who he was trying to convince at this point, himself or Heathersky. Coughing he dropped his gaze and ran a paw over his side.
"Oh and I should probably get tended too..." He added a little self-consciously. "N-not that I NEED it or anything of course!" He quickly added. "I just you know, you look like you... need... something to, uh do..." His voice trailed off as he realized how stupid he had to sound. Feeling his face heat up, he angled his ears back and coughed briskly before roughly shoving Suketsu in front of Heathersky.
"And don't you give her any trouble either you hear me?!" He said to Suketsu with a stiff growl before plopping down a few feet away and doing his best to ignore everyone and his flaming cheeks.

Heathersky continued to look about like a stone wall in her expressions, for all she would reveal about her thoughts. The silver she-cat listened to Cinnamonstreak, and her muzzle split into a smile when Cinnamonstreak said that Suketsu was a prisoner. The smile could have been about the way he already knew her name, or how he said that even prisoners needed medical attention, since it was slightly amusing. Knowing that she had just left a tiny hole in her stone wall, she stopped her train of thoughts abruptly for a moment. Wait... if I'm letting this kind of thing slip by, I'm losing my edge. My ability to lock others out.
Is that a good thing or a bad thing? I honestly don't know, but if it's a bad thing, it doesn't feel that way. Scanning Suketsu for her injuries, and then Cinnamonstreak, she decided it was the stubborn russet warrior who had just huffed about Suketsu not giving trouble to Heathersky. You're both giving me trouble, alright, Heathersky, thought amusedly, but didn't voice her thoughts aloud. Instead, she gathered some cobwebs around her paws, and smeared the pre-chewed marigold on her other paw.
Prepared for Cinnamonstreak's protest, the medicine cat did her work quickly, ensuring efficiently that everything was patched up. Withdrawing back to the herbs, she also treated Suketsu, albeit a little more slowly. This was to show Cinnamonstreak that she wasn't going to hurt the rogue. All the while she was thinking about how he had seemed the whole time. I'm leaning towards that he really does care about her.
But I know he doesn't just randomly want her treated. I think it's... a little more personal than that. So we'll make it that. Chortling on the inside but still stone-faced outside, Heathersky turned to Cinnamonstreak after finishing dressing Suketsu's wounds. "You've brought to me a prisoner."
Knowing that what she had just said was a painfully obvious statement, yet somewhat untrue, she continued with a twitch of her whiskers. "She is your responsibility, Cinnamonstreak. I mean that literally. You are to ensure that she has an eye kept on her at all times." Okay, I know I'm not a leader, but I'm still going to do this. "You have to... ensure that she is fed and the like."
Oh geez... well, we'll see how this turns out. Heathersky continued with a flick of her tail and a brief smile towards the rogue. "We may be Clan cats, therefore opposed to rogues, but we are by no means cruel. We aren't going to turn you away, injured as you are. However," she continued, speaking to Cinnamonstreak, "as I said, you alone are responsible for her. I don't want to catch you slacking off, got it?"
She ended her sentence with a serious face on the outside and a hysterically laughing inside. It's not the worst that could happen. I'm sure he'll be happier that I let her stay... that is, IF I'm right about things being deeper than they look, which I honestly don't know yet. We'll see.
((Couldn't resist... BAHAHA))

OOC: hee hee hee, It was the first thing that came to my mind....
Mousepaw smelt a rogue and recoiled, noticing Heathersky talking to Cinnamonstreak, who was an EmberClan cat. He growled at the rogue, "Your friends cost me a lot of herbs up there, do we have to bother wasting hunting patrols on a rogue? We need all the food we can get at the moment, have you talked to your leaders about this yet?" he turned his sightless eyes towards the rogue and hissed. The small black hated the thought of the clans' food being wasted on a pathertic rogue, although he tried not to sound too aggressive, because he didn't want to start a fight, not here.
Mousepaw turned to Heathersky, "Do you have any..." he stammered, "Uh... Poppy seeds, I don't think we have any..."

Suketsu shot Cinnamon another glare after he roughly pushed her towards Heathersky. "Don't think you'll get away with this," She hissed under her breath. After Cinnamon was treated, the medicne cat started looking over her. She winced as her wounds were treated.
"I won't cause trouble, if you think I will!" She mewed to Heathersky venomously. Suketsu might be a rogue, but she honoured her promises, however hard it was to keep. As she eyed Heathersky, Suketsu could tell Heathersky was having trouble hiding something. What is it? SHe wondered. She calmed herself down and put on a cool face.

Blitzfire, who was drifting in and out of conciousness, barely noticed Minttail beside him. After a few minutes, he opened his eyes groggily to see the she cat by his side with Flickerhear curled around her. Lifting his head, he looked over to where It appeared some cats had found the rogue Suketsu. Unusually not caring, he turned his head to look ouside into the pouring rain. I wonder what happened to Skysong... he thought vaguely as he returned his head to his paws and closed his eyes tiredly.

(sorries for the wait.)
Cinnamonstreak barely paid attention as Heathersky looked both him and Suketsu over, however when Heathersky moved to tend him first he hissed his displeasure and tried to shrug her off. But one didn't "shrug" Heathersky off and she stubbornly tended his wounds anyways. Laying his ears back he resorted to looking sullen and was determined he would rather die first than admit he was glad she was treating him and oh it felt GOOD when she put that marigold paste on! His side's had been starting to burn like crazy from all the scratches.
Once she was done, if she'd looked, she'd have noticed for a brief second his look was one of "aww you're done already?" but a second later it was gone. Suketsu hissed a small threat at him and he scowled at Suketsu, but didn't have a chance to comment as Heathersky started to tend Suketsu's injuries. Cinnamonstreak watched, actually more like suspiciously analyzed her every movement as she tended Suketsu, but he wasn't aware of how he was coming across. When she was done, he flicked his ears towards her as he padded over to investigate her work. Suketsu looked fine, so Cinnamonstreak didn't comment as Heathersky turned towards him and started to speak.
"You've brought to me a prisoner. She is your responsibility, Cinnamonstreak. I mean that literally. You are to ensure that she has an eye kept on her at all times. You have to... ensure that she is fed and the like. We may be Clan cats, therefore opposed to rogues, but we are by no means cruel. We aren't going to turn you away, injured as you are. However, as I said, you alone are responsible for her. I don't want to catch you slacking off, got it?"
Cinnamonstreak stared at Heathersky with a look that might have made a rock think about moving. "What?! I gotta KITSIT her?! Are you cra-" Cinnamonstreak abruptly stopped as the rest of his mind caught up with him. Wait. That meant Suketsu couldn't leave. She couldn't do anything. He had to watch her. She was practically a member of the Clan, albeit a forced one but still. He'd see her everyday. Heeeey.
His attitude did such an abrupt turnaround it was nearly scary as it happened in the span of 2 seconds. "You're absolutely right. Don't worry, I'll make sure she doesn't even think about stepping out of line." He said with a tiny growl to Suketsu. Inwardly he was nearly leaping with giddiness. Part of him was trying to interrupt and ask WHY he was thrilled to be saddled with "prisoner guarding" duties, but he was firmly ignoring that question and kept a serious face to Heathersky, unaware the Medicine Cat wasn't that stupid, even if she couldn't read his thoughts exactly.
"Your friends cost me a lot of herbs up there, do we have to bother wasting hunting patrols on a rogue? We need all the food we can get at the moment, have you talked to your leaders about this yet?"
When Mousepaw of ShoreClan came over and verbally assaulted Suketsu, Cinnamonstreak's attitude did another 180 degree turnaround. With a near violent display of why Cinnamonstreak had earned his name, he turned on the blind Medicine Cat Apprentice with a snarl and a flash of fangs. "Why don't you go mind your own business you little scrawy rat?!" The warrior hissed as he puffed up nearly twice his size and dwarfed the smaller male.
"What are you doing in here anyways?! In case you're stupid AND blind, this is EMBERCLAN'S cave!" Cinnamonstreak said almost viciously. Suddenly realizing his nasty flash of temper would probably would not sit nicely with Heathersky and that he was dangerously within paw reach of her while she was in possession of who knows WHAT in herbs, Cinnamonstreak backed off several feet and eyed Heathersky warily. If she made a twitch towards one of her herbs, he was OUTTA there.
"Look, are we done here?" He asked almost impatiently while standing back feeling edgy. "We've not eaten yet and I need to show Su—the prisoner around." He said, automatically correcting himself. He was keeping a straight face, but the tip of his tail was twitching somewhat, giving off the signal he was eager to get away from Heathersky. Nicely oblivious that he was practically shouting his feelings about Suketsu for Heathersky to read, Cinnamonstreak was having a hard time looking at her and kept looking around the cave as if seeing if any more escape routes had opened up in the walls recently.
(I'd like to ask that NO ONE ELSE figures out that Cinny and Suketsu like each other except for Heathersky until much later. Like when Suketsu gets pregnant. Thanks! ^^ )

Suketsu glared at the blind cat. From what Cinnamon had said, she guessed the apprentice wasn't part of Emberclan.
"What?! I gotta KITSIT her?! Are you cra- You're absolutely right. Don't worry, I'll make sure she doesn't even think about stepping out of line."
Suketsu felt oddly relieved that she was allowed to stay. Catching herself with those thoughts, she quickly muttered out loud. "It's just cause of the rain; no cat wants to be out in weather like this. Right?" Somehow, she doubted her own words.
"Well, can we leave?" Suketsu said in a louder voice. She wanted to have a... word with Cinnamonstreak. "The smell of herbs is starting to get annoying." She added quickly, not wanting to sound suspiscious, but saying that probrably made things a bit worse. Her paws itched to get away from the medicine cat, who seemed to know every single thing going on in her mind. The rogue waited for Cinnamon to move.ooc//That was funny, Kiri.

Her gray eyes flickering to the cats who had walked in, she noticed Mousepaw among them. Nodding briefly to the ShoreClan medicine cat apprentice, she tried to ignore the other cats coming in, focusing on what was going on right then. Another thing she tried to ignore was the giddy laughter going on inside of her. That tom has always been a thorn in my paw as far as conflicts go. Well, let's see how he handles this.
Listening to him, she nodded seriously. Listening to him break off mid-sentence, Heathersky watched the two cats carefully, and a thought occurred that he might not mind it so much after all. That was what it seemed like, and she was about to reply to his agreement when he started yelling at Mousepaw. The fur on her shoulders bristled and she stood from where she had been seated. Lashing her tail once, she waited for him to finish.
Narrowing her eyes dangerously, she let out a low hiss, almost inaudible. Notorious for being able to hold in her anger, she allowed the silence to sit for a moment after Cinnamonstreak had finished speaking. Allowing her fur to lie flat again, she scrutinized him with cold eyes for a moment. Thinking for a few seconds, she begun to reply. Cinnamonstreak's eyes were darting around the cave, and she wondered for a second if he were looking for someone.
"We're not done when you act like an apprentice with no regard for cats of other Clans. In case you didn't know, as long as we're at Korkea Maa, we are working together with cats of other Clans. Even if he is in the EmberClan cave, he has a point that the rogues were a big blow to the Clans."
Ignoring the pulsing anger that had replaced the laughter in her, she stood for another moment, allowing the two cats to think for a moment if they were. Turning her head to face Suketsu as the rogue said the smell of herbs was starting to get annoying, she looked as though she was about to say something else for a moment, but all that came out was, "Go." Flicking her tail towards the entrance of the cave to gesture them out, she turned and began sorting the herbs again, busywork to calm her down.

(sorry Shiro, I'm in too many threads so if you dont mind, I'd really like to pull Cinny out of this one.)
"We're not done when you act like an apprentice with no regard for cats of other Clans. In case you didn't know, as long as we're at Korkea Maa, we are working together with cats of other Clans. Even if he is in the EmberClan cave, he has a point that the rogues were a big blow to the Clans. Go."
Cinnamonstreak laid his ears back at Heathersky's words and sniffed the air with as much indifference as he dared to show in front of the angry Medicine Cat. It might have looked like he wasn't listening, but he was and he wasn't happy about it. Still, at least she hadn't tried to ram who knows what down his throat as punishment.
Shuddering, he was relieved when she ordered them to leave and with a curt nod to Suketsu, he rose and briskly walked off. He respected Heathersky too much to argue with her, even if it looked quite the opposite. That was just how Cinnamonstreak was. A lot of times he looked like the opposite of how he really felt about other cats, but if push came to shove, he'd have grudging admitted to the Medicine Cat she spoke the truth.
(okay, Cinny's gone. ^^ )

Mousepaw growled, "I was only here to help, anyway, I'm not even in Stormclan!" the blind apprentice looked down, "Anyway, does it make him any more of a warrior to pick on apprentices. I suppose I'll apologize later", he was glad that Heathersky was there, he hadn't had any fighting training, well.. he had, but that was before he had lost his sight.
OOC: Oooh. That was a good retort Kiri, that'll burn for a while, wish I could write like that.
