The Forest
Current Weather:
Newleaf has turned into Greenleaf and the afternoon showers are starting to taper off somewhat. The forest is alive with prey and predators so clan cats beware! It's not just clan cats that are enjoying the great hunting. The summer heat is also cranking up. With noontime temperatures starting to soar, it's a wise idea for cats to know when to rest from the heat of the day lest they accidently suffer from a heatstroke.

Next Gathering:
Now - the clan olympics, currently taking place in Fourtrees and in other locations around the forest.

General Rules

OOC Rules
Four Wild Clans is based on the Warrior series by Erin Hunter. You don't have to read the books to RP here, but it is recommended.

1. Always be polite to other members.

2. We expect you to follow all the rules and respect the authority of the Staff.

3. We are a realistic, semi-advanced RPG. That means you can't have a purple cat with pink eyes that can read minds. Semi-advanced means we require you to use proper English, spell words correctly, use proper grammer and proper punctuation. Below are some examples. The first example is what is NOT accepted on this site. The second example is what IS accepted on this site.
Example 1: She satted down in teh green gras near her friend, He saw her and said "hi" and she smiled at him.

Example 2: She sat down in the green grass near her friend and he looked over at her. "Hi." He said as she smiled at him.

4. We don't allow canon characters. That means you can't create a character based off of any of the cats in the Warrior series.

5. Plagerism is not tolerated on this site. If it belongs to someone else, don't take it unless you get their permission first!

6. You must be 13 years of age or older to RP here according to ProBoards. Please do not join if you are 12 or younger.

IC Rules

1. Absolutely NO chatspeak is allowed in IC posts.

2. You must post at least 3 lines of text for all IC posts. Please note we didn't say 3 sentences, we said 3 lines of text.

3. Please keep OOC comments in an IC thread to a minimum and indicate any OOC comments with parenthesis or something so everyone knows it's OOC. We don't allow posts in an IC thread that are only OOC comments. Any posts made with just OOC comments in an IC thread will be deleted. If you want to talk about something, use the cbox, PM them, Email them or use AIM, YIM, MSN, etc.

4. Cussing is not allowed and we do have filters in place to replace offensive content. When speaking IC, please stick to things like "mouse brain" or "fox dung."

5. You are only allowed to register ONE account.

6. All members are allowed a max of 2 characters when they join.

7. If you have been on the site for 3 weeks and are active and literate with your other characters, you can PM Hawkstar and Kiri-chan to ask if you can have another character. Hawkstar and Kiri-chan will check to see how active and literate you've been before letting you know if you can have another character or not.

8. While all cats die eventually, please keep in mind that repeatedly making new characters and then killing them shortly afterwards is frowned upon by the Staff. If you kill a character you have to wait 30 days before you are allowed to request permission from Hawkstar or Kiri-chan to create a new one (this includes adopting another character). You must get permission from an Admin to kill a Kitten, no exceptions!
